I really don't know what the rash/pimples are precisely but you do realise that at 61kgs (136lbs)  and 6' tall you're very, very low in weight.... borderline for underweight?  If you've been restricting calories/dieting to get to that weight and you've recently stopped eating certain foods altogether then your skin problem could be linked with malnutrition.  Make sure that the vitamins/minerals you'd normally get from wheat and dairy products are matched with different foods in your diet and that you're getting a good 2300-2500 calories daily.

Have you introduced any new foods into your diet? Any new medications? Have you started using a new lotion or different clothes detergent? Does the rash itch at all? In your picture the rash looks flesh colored, is it pinker or redder than that in person?

It looks to me like hives from some type of allergic reaction. Possibly could be eczema/psoriasis. I would recommend keeping the area clean and trying Benadryl, if that does not ease the rash/symptoms see your doctor again.

not likely hives or psoriasis as its not weeping or scaly

impetigo maybe. much more likely to be contracted if ur immune system is compromised ie from restricting needed nutrients and being under ideal weight.

only you know the answer for that one

thanks for the reply!

I was eating a lot of aspertame products honestly..sprite zero and extra pastilles. I though it might be my kidneys saying no to it or something.. but t I've cut it out now, I began eating it when I had a craving for the stuff I'm allergic to. I don't eat milk products or wheat related stuff and I cannot possibly figure out why I have this thing on my back :( I went all panicky and thinking it was cancer and all that..

it doesn't itch inmensively but i could scrape some of the "rash" off (gross, i know) . I am a very white person and never have a tan haha.. but the rash is like tan colored.

The doctor said I shouldn't be concerned.. I'm thinking I ought to go to a skin-doctor... or?

I've stayed on this weight for almost 5 months.. I have a small frame, small bones..

I eat a lot of stuff that's good for the immune system :My plate is always full of A,C,E vitamins in the morning :D

....and then I eat more veggies during the day... and I take calcium and B vitamins before I sleep, since I'm not getting that from bread or milk.

If you're doctor's not concerned, it won't be cancer.  Give it two or three weeks and see what happens.  If it hasn't cleared up then go back to your doctor.  Skin takes several weeks to regenerate so it can take time for things to get back to normal.

My first question is have you started any new medications?  Been out in the sun for a long time lately?  Either of those could cause something like that.

If you've changed something recently, cut it out (unless it's a medicine, then read the prescription information), give it a few weeks, and if it hasn't cleared up or go back.  If you are really concerned about it, you might go ahead and get on the dermatologist's schedule, because around here it takes about 4-6 mos to get an appointment.

Kinda looks like tinea versicolor to me (my boyfriend has it).  As far as I know it's harmless but treatable - he's had it for years.

I'm not sure if that's something that comes on suddenly or not though...???
