So, this challenge is for those who are VERY serious about sticking to a challenge. I will hound you if you do not keep up!!!Foot in mouth I need to lose at least 5 lbs by April 19th, but really 10 would be awesome. I am going to Vegas and have to fit in a suit, and I want to look good!!!

So, if you don't know what "Skinny Bitch" is, it is book that promotes a very strict & healthy lifestyle/diet, which I do not find too complicated to follow, but others might...no dairy, eggs, meat, alcohol (this is a hard spot), pop, caffeine, and all other "bad" foods/drinks. I will be following this, as I choose to live this way, however, of course you don't have to!!!

*Edit 3/18- I changed around rewards...still trying to figure out a good system. I am open to suggestions!!!

Here is how the challenge will work:

-Weigh-in's will be twice a week: Wednesdays and Saturdays

-I will announce the "Skinny Bitch" of the week...for the person who has the highest percentage of weightloss, rewards themselves!!!

-Also, I like to have mini goals and rewards for myself, please feel free to post yours!

PLEASE only start this challenge if are really going to stick with it!!!

Hi, I'd love to join.  I also need a good challenge and a group to keep me in check.   Read the book, it was good and i actually went vegan for three months because of it but realized i missed my cheese too much!

Going on vacay in may, need to get beach body ready...

Also,  I just discovered shirataki noodles at whole foods today (in their tofu section)- these noodles are no carb, high fiber, low cal, no fat, honestly, the best noodle replacement you think of.  not perfect,  but still good.  they made me excited, so i thought i'd pass on!  Smile

I've already lost 10 pounds in the first week after I read skinny bitch.  I've been caffeine free for almost a month.  I try to eat all organic but it's so expensive.  I've been vegan now though since February 23rd.  I do love cheese but it made me fat.  It was the food I over endulged in.  I'm completely living by Skinny Bitch guidelines now.   I'm a singer so I def need a rock hard body.

Hi Smmca - I'm definitely in.  I loved our last challenge.  Also, April 19th is a great goal - I'm heading back home that day and haven't been there since November.  I've since dropped about 8 pounds and would love to lose these last 5 before heading back!

I'm currently vegan and trying to go completely raw vegan.  So far so good except for about 1 meal/week.  Coffee, however, now that's another story....

For those of you who read Skinny Bitch, I am reading Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman. More of scientific reasons you should try to avoid animal products and also about eating nutrient dense foods. Happy Weigh-in!!!!

I will try Green for Life, thanks lfaine! I am excited you are joining up for another challenge! I started doing crunches and squats/lunges again. I know that people claim you can't target areas fr weight loss, but it sure makes a HUGE difference when I start crunches again! Hopefully with all these squats, my butt will lift up a little. =) I'll calculate everyone's weigh loss later and post them all, and also announce the winner probably tomorrow morning. I had a good loss, hopefully it will stay off and not come back!!!!

I'm in!! This sounds like a great challenge, just what i need for an extra push.. something to hold me accountable :]

Welcome everyone to the Skinny Bitch challenge! I am excited all of you are as motivated as I am to get healthy and have goals to have a healthy body!

I am definitely going to try your shirataki noodles out Adrieu. I have had them in these spring wraps, and they are good!!!

How many calories do you guys eat a day? And what do you do for exercise? Me, I eat 1500 a day, and I walk 3 miles or do the elliptical for 30 min 6 days a week. I also started doing crunches and squats. I should also do an arm workout...but I need to slowly add things in, you know? Or maybe I am just making excuses. =)

My friend is coming over for dinner tonight, so I am making vegan Pad Thai. I am sooo excited! I love pad thai!!!

I use the pad thai sauce from House of Thai I think? It's a white container with a little thai house on it. Anyways, I don't really have a recipe, I just throw together some cooked rice noodles, a package of tofu which I pan fry no oil seperately first, some pad thai sauce, shredded carrots, bean sprouts, and sprinkle some crushed peanuts on top. Really...it's all about the sauce. When I get home I will let you know for sure the brand. It is BY FAR the best!!!

I KNOW I'm late, but I normally weigh in Wednesdays anyway so I can catch up! I am going home for the first time in A YEAR AND HALF April 12th, so this works great for me!!
