I know that i am all ready skinnny but I want to lose more weight before next week. Does anyone have any ideas.

'skinny fast' is a bad philosophy.  and there is no 'quick fix'.  sorry.

exercise tons for the week. eat proper cals though or else your body will just hold tighter to the fat you should be burning.
I'm sorry, but based on what you've posted here, recently, you're already underweight. We can not offer you the kind of help you're asking for.

I suggest, instead, you speak to a doctor immediately regarding your weight and what to do to become healthy again.
Hon, you need to get yourself some help.

As I undertand it liza917, you have some serious body image issues.  This is probably why you are so unhappy with things.  Just try to get some help for that, look at yourself differe ntly, and make sure you are eating enough.

Always be sure to atleast eat 1200 calories + what you burn exercising + extra if you are on your feet most of the day.

If you have weight to lose, you will lose it.   Maybe take some pics of yourself (or have a friend do it) and really look at your body.  It's probably perfectly fine.


HK, I don't think your post was very positive or helpful to this girl.  Just because she has issues doesn't mean she should be treated less than someone super overweight who is looking to shed some serious pounds.   We all need good positive help.
Multiply your weight in pounds by 7 and your answer is how many calories you need to LOSE weight.

For example:

(my weight in pounds) 168 x 7 = 1176 calories daily (to LOSE weight)

That's how The Biggest Losers did it!

Drink LOTS of water, exercise ( but you will see results by just the little amount of calories consumed)...but I recommend that you do!

By that calculation at 168 lbs you need to go under the minimum recommended caloric intake to lose weight.

Yeah, rebecca's right. Hell, I would be eating 800 calories a day! Of course I would lose weight. Eek!
rebeccakm, (LOL), I was just giving an example because I didn't know her weight.

I'm just going by what I read in The Biggest Loser book that I bought...
And I'd be eating 1680, which is darn near the minimum for a guy.

I don't think that's a good system. :)

HOWEVER,
If you multiply your weight by 10 ( 11 if you're a guy) and then take off 500 - 750 off that, that's a much more reasonable number.
ok... I'm not a math wiz or anything hkellick, but doesn't that equal to 430?  with my weight of 168

Yeah H, that's put me at 1150 before subtracting any. Maybe HK means net calories. ;-)

i think for biggest loser that multiply times 7 stuff works for the targeted audience of people who are obese like on the show, like 200 pds plus. otherwise, people lower wouldn't follow those same numbers im sure.
Just remember.....skinny isn't always good looking (as in radiating health and confidence)   Nice skin,nails, and hair and the sparkle in your eye require good nutrition
If you want a formula.

The formula I was told before ever finding this site was to get your maintaining calories multiply 12 x weight.

So for me this is current 203 x 12 = 2436

This site's calculator says I need 2400, so I know this formula works.

Then you subtract off that upto 1000, but making sure you stay above 1500 for guys or 1200 for girls.

So if I subtract 1000 off of 2436 I'd get 1436.   I'm a guy... so this is bad.

At this point I throw out ALL THE MATH and crap and I realize I just eat 1500


Then since I exercise I need to eat those calories back as well.

So I eat...


1500 + what I burn exercising

My job is sitting down all day so I don't add more for my work.

Wow simple, no calcuators needed... just adding it up.

For a girl already fairly low weight you'd simply go by...

1200 + what you burn exercising + a couple hundred more if you work a stand up job or are on your feet all day taking care of kids or whatever.

Simple

No site needed except to look up foods and get tips from others doing what you're doing :)

Just track all your calories in a notebook and you're good to go.

The downside is undereating.   Which I never let myself go below 1500 NET calories for the day... infact sometimes I eat an extra 100cals just to prevent this
fast.i done it for 3 days once with exercise and just water and lost 3lbs
