Skipping calorie counting for today
It was family Easter, so that means sloppy joes, mini weenies, chips, cookies, Easter candy, baked beans, etc. etc. etc.
I figured I'd just call today a massive cheat day and feel happy about it. Anybody else doing a cheat day today? I don't wanna be all alone :P
I've had cheat days the past 3 days, minus yesterday. I feel miserable, but I've already screwed up today on Easter candy, so I'm just gonna forget today happened tomorrow and TRY to get back on track! I know I've probably gained some weight, but I refuse to look. LOL
I'm having a minor cheat day today. I've eaten well so far and I'm about to go over to my parents' place for supper. My Dad is trying to lose a bit of weight and my Mom is a total low-fat diet Nazi, so I expect to find lean ham or turkey served with healthy side dishes. The only way to turn it into a MAJOR cheat would be to pig out outrageously.
Oh, and Mom's cooking a dessert. She always cooks dessert and has a tiny portion for herself.
Actually, Mom and Dad are very supportive of my losing weight. But they wouldn't believe I could lose weight on 2000 cal until they sat down and hand-calculated my BMR!
I cheated today too! Actually, I said Friday was going to be my cheat day, but then I was out of town on Saturday (I did ok, but not great) and then didn't even try to put in stuff today. Tomorrow, though, I'm back at it. And excited about it! (But that Cadbury Creme Egg WAS fabulous!)

Flamel, just curious; were they surprised at how much or how little you eat? (I'm glad they're on your side).
I'm right along with ya!! Ham, lots of bread, cheesy potatoes, lots of cookies, cake, wine...ugh...i'm SOOOO full. It's amazing how my stomach really revolted too. It just can't handle all that rich food like it yesterday. But I worked out this morning, so I knew that would help, but definitely not combat it. But yeah, getting right back on track tomorrow!!
I'm counting still, but not restricting. Forcing myself not to feel guilty about my 3300 calories...I feel great, so it must be working haha. Happy Easter, guys!
Oh boy... my brother had a barbecue for our family. Alcohol lowers my resistance to all things tasty and greasy!
Definitely back on track tomorrow, I don't like feeling this full!
This was the whole reason I looked for this website tonight and joined. I have been calorie counting and trying to loose weight and today was just totally out of control. I ate too many casseroles, ham, bread and desserts and now I feel sick and guilty. I guess all I can do is start over tomorrow.
samsies. major cheating. i need to be good this week...today was a mess haaha. but its a holiday! and i enjoyed my chocolate!
The next big food-holiday isn't until Thanksgiving really, right? It's all good!
I went so far off the diet reservation today! Lately I've been a portion controlled brown rice vegetables and steamed fish girl. Today I pigged out. I ate macaroni salad and ham and coffee cake and oh the candy oh the chocolate. I also drank coffee for the first time in a long time. Its effect was tremendous. When I got home, I rearranged and cleaned the kitchen.
I didn't even really enjoy it either. Sure it was greasy and heavy and delicious, but I knew it was wrong. I feel so gross! I forgot what it feels like to be this full, it's super uncomfortable. I suppose it's a blessing that I'm regretful and sick. I have to remember this feeling so don't do it again.
I'm glad I'm not alone in this! ;)
Happy Easter.

Did you forget about the 4th of July?? LOL (assuming u live in the States of course)
BBQ galore!
& Memorial Day & Labor Day picnics, bbq...and summer vacations...but other than that....
I went out of town for easter this weekend, so I had no control over my meals...other than eating small portions or being picky. The whole weekend was a cheat weekend, but I don't feel bad about it.
I actually had a small breakfast, lunch on saturday and I made a good chioce for dinner.
Sunday I ate alot of candy, but when it came to brunch, I mostly loaded up on the heathly stuff (sweets are too much nowadays).
However I did drink a lot of coke.
I've heard a lot of people say to switch up their cals and increase it by a lot sometimes to confuse your metabolism...I workout a lot so I'm not worried about this.

And my birthday...and graduation...
I say it's not cheating if you don't feel guilty. I set myself up for enjoying Easter, and I enjoyed it! Also, I weighed myself this morning and the numbers on the scale didn't change from Friday (to my surprise). Everyone needs a break now and then, I think...I just be sure to keep it to one day.
On the go andin the know.
