stef
Oh hell yes I would!!  I want to!!  Take me with!
I have skydived and it is a blast.  Major adrenaline burst.  My father and husband were in the air force so I used to jump for free with them.  I have over 150 jumps and could become an instructor if I jump 100 to 350 more tims depending on what type I wanted to be.  I just like doing it for fun every once in awhile and not interested in teaching anyone.
I second what raehn said. XP But in capital letters.
That's on my list of things I'd like to do someday. I would LOVE to. My biggest ambition is to fly (without a plane) and I figure that's the closest I can get with modern technology. Someday... *crosses fingers*
My SIL bought me and my partner skydiving lessons for our b-day's unfortunately the Weather has not cooperated for the last two weeks.
I would TOTALLY DO IT! if I wasn't such a wuss.  Maybe one day...maybe
Nope, nope and nope........

:)
at this weight - no way... slimmer and trimmer... sure, i'd try it.

"and i'm free...free falling...." - Tom Petty
ummm...is the plane on fire?

because if it isn't, I'm staying inside it.
hey hey,

I have done a sky dive, it was a couple of years ago and it was so exhilirating. I was super scared. But felt amazingly proud of myself afterwards. It was a real thrill. It was in New Zeland, in the Bay of Islands, which is very pretty, so after I got over the initial feeling of OMG - and opened my eyes, it was incredible. It felt like FALLING, FALLING, FALLING, FALLING, then ......... floating, fantastic.

sorry, but don't quite see the point of jumping out of a perfectly working airplane??!!
Done it!

Loved it!

Would do it again!

Old thread, but YES I have done it (100+ times and counting!), and I will continue to do it until I am physically unable to get in a plane (getting out is not the hard part!).  And why jump from a perfectly good airplane?

The door was open.

Cheers!

Yes, I would. I want to get to 250 before I do it because I don't want to get hurt doing it.
i absolutely would! and i plan to eventually!
Hell no.  I am dead petrified of heights, I only recently stopped p!%$ing my pants on the roller coasters at Six Flags, I've never been on a plane and am going to be 100% completely drugged and out of it when I go on my honeymoon next year, preferrably BEFORE I get on the plane.

Alex wants me to go to Cedar Point with him this summer and ride the roller coasters.  Okay, you know that term about being scared to death?  It is true, and I'm not going to tempt fate.
I did it last summer & it was the most fun I have ever had in my life! We are going to do it again this summer before our wedding! DO IT DO IT DO IT! If you're not afraid of heights, it's amazing! If you are, maybe not as much fun. Oh and if you have motion sickness, it may not be so fun either. My soon to be sister-in-law does & she was not feeling too hot when she was done but she said it was still worth it.

I was going to buy my son and me a skydiving session when he graduated high school, but I had a lot of unexpected expenses and didn't do it. So now I'm planning on either doing it for his 21st birthday or for his college graduation.

I love thrill rides and I know I'd love the skydiving adventure.

I did it from 16,000 feet during a vacation in New Zealand. And I was terrified really, because I don't even like roller coasters. However... life changing experience. Honestly. The guys there warned us that it was addicting, and it's true. I haven't gone again but I definitely want to.

I mean, who doesn't want to fly? There is NO feeling of "falling". It's more like floating. And on the day I went, it was a spectacular view.

I dreamed about it for a year afterwards, and I still have occasional dreams of my dive.

Honestly if you ever do anything in your life, do this. You want to find a really good location though.
