We just got a lot of snow in Ohio over the weekend. So on Saturday I ran on the treadmill in the morning and went sled riding with the kids in the afternoon. I was sweating going up those hills. So on Sunday, I wore my HRM to figure how many calories I burned. I was sledding for 1hr. and 45min. and burned 498 calories. So you can really have fun getting your exercise in. So I am figuring I burned at least 1000 calories on Saturday since I was out for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, plus the run.

YES! I'm up in Michigan, so I'm feelin' ya on all the new snow... and I've been dying to get out and go sledding! Now... I just need a sled, and some friends... ;-) My husband won't come with me!
