sleepover..??

Quote  |  Reply

well me and my friend are having a sleepover, and i managed to come up with some healthy alternatives to our normal junk food like...

ice cream= fruit sorbet (frozen gruit blended with juice)

lots of fresh fruit

popcorn and pita chips <-- but then therse the butter and salsa etc :|

but i did 40 min cardio today, and ate pretty light overall, would it be okay to eat junk food too?? or would that throw me off track? :|

*sigh*

you can eat anything you want and maintain/lose (whatever you're aiming for) as long as you stay within your calorie range. junk food is not good for you but it wont kill ya.

just watch the quantity of the sugary food and junky processed food. it doesnt really matter how much you eat in a day, more like every few hours. if you eat light all day (and probably have a slightly slower metabolism because of it) and then eat a ton of junk food at night, even though you dont go over your calories for the day you can gain weight. you should try to just eat small balanced meals all the time. however, if this is something rare, it will not make you gain a significant enough amount of weight to even be noticeable, so id say go for it, just watch your portions.

*edit* have no butter on your popcorn, just salt, or like i get the popcorn thats got reduced calories (its all in the butter) and salsa is nothing as far as calories imo (i don't usually even count those calories unless i have a ton) and the fruit sorbet or whatever probably has the same amount of sugar as ice cream does anyway (and sugar turns into fat sooner/more easily than fat turns into fat !!) if you are really concerned make a fruit bowl or something, or .. like some people like raw veggies but theyre not my fav.

Nutritional yeast is good on popcorn. Kind of tastes cheesy.
