As of this morning, I have lost 110.8 pounds using Slim-Fast!

Of course, I was out of mine, and had to drink a strawberry.  Ick.

As long as you make sure you get enough calories and exercise, the SF plan works great!  I can't imagine doing without it.  I really enjoy it, and recommend it.

yeah! it's reall yworking great.

and this is not baby weight, or anything like that i'm trying to lose - just real, human, fat... so there's no excuses as to why it's working fast, etc...

i really realllllly like slimfast..

I'm going to start using the High protein chocolate powder and having that in a glass of milk for breakfast for now on. I don't believe in following the total diet regime, but hopefully slim fast will be a good breakfast for my lifestyle.

I've been using slimfast for lunch, along with walking 1-2 miles every morning.  Cal count has me on 1450 cal a day.  I started my weight loss on May 12 at 185, as of today I'm at 176.  I only like the Creamy chocolate ones though... Sometimes one just doesn't suffice, lol.... they are too good.

Hi my name is Kim,

started trying to lose last year around august...I was at my heaviest 178. I got down to 153 with counting calories & exercise....was really hard. but slacked some the last 3 months & got back up to 162.

so this past monday I started having carnation instant breakfasts for 2 meals a day (I know it's not exactly slimfast) but I love CIB & I know I will drink them.

this morning I'm at 157..so far so good. pleasantly surprised I haven't been too hungry. I have drink for breakfast & lunch, 500 cal dinner, & 3- 100 cal snacks a day= approx eating 6 times a day.

got very motivated reading all of your posts...

hope to hear from everyone on continued success...

start     178 (august 2007)

current 157

goal      120

My friend tried slim fast and her forehead broke out in acne so badly. But her figure was really nice. I'm not sure which I would rather choose.

I think I'll try it for a while because I'm going to start school soon and I get REALLY hungry after volleyball practice that I start binge eating = big no no. So maybe on the walk home I could drink one and hopefully that'll hold my stomach till dinner.

i started yesterday. I will post my results next Saturday.

hi

i used slimfast for 4 months last year and lost 4 stone, slipped abit over the last 7 months but havn,t put it all back on, so going back on it again to loose what i put back and hopefully a bit more.

it really does work if you stick to it.

plus it makes you feel great and more active when youve lost a bit of weight

good luck

I've never been able to stand Slim Fast, but I do something similar - Worldwide Fitness Protein Shakes - 35 g of protein per serving, no sugar (a little sucralose - but no asparteme, and a LOT less sweet than slim fast), and low carb.  100% calcium, 170 calories each, blah blah blah.  It's delicious to me and really has been a godsend as a meal replacement when I don't have time to cook up some veggies and fish or something.

I've been doing slimfast and so far I've lost about 8 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks without exercise.  I prefer the bars to the shakes, because the chewing is more satisfying.

I've noticed from the comments that some people don't understand how the diet is supposed to work.  You're not supposed to only drink all of your meals!  It's just a convenient way to easily count your meal calories and get the vitamins and minerals you need.  It's a good low cal meal-you can't even make a sandwich for 220 calories :)

For example:

Breakfast- Slimfast Breakfast bar with 8 oz skim milk= 200 cals

Snack- fruit of some kind (I like watermelon)=50-100 cals

Lunch- Slimfast Bar= 220 cals

Snack- usually some almonds (count them out) or popcorn=100cals

Dinner- go to the calorie counter and figure out what would be around 600 calories.  I usually have some chicken breast, salad, and whole wheat pasta for example.  This gives me around 1200-1300 calories and I know I'm getting lots of vitamins and minerals.  I've been really happy with it so far.

I think the diet is fine if you stick to it.. although i dont know how it includes enough vegetable servings as well as enough grains.. That was my only problem with sticking to it full-time.

wow a year later, i stopped dieting until about sept, but i wasn't serious until round thanksgiving so between thanksgiving and now 1-13-09 i lost 20lbs from 205lb to 185...i joined weight wathcher but to be honest i didn't follow their program i was just in it for the meetings and weigh in i felt those were motivational

but now im motivated than ever to get to my goal. my sis bday is coming up 2-26-09 my goal between now and then is to lose another 10lbs so next friday im going to pick up on the slim fast because if i remeber correctly i lost 5lbs in my first week the 1st time i tried it!

good luck on everyones goals!

I just started Slim Fast today, and looking to lose 25 pounds by the begining of June. My weight right now is 15

8, and I'm 5'4. Hopefully I'm able to achieve my goal, but I need motivation. Frown

Graduation is soon, and I really want to look good for it.

I'm looking at losing 30# by June 1st.  I'm doing a combo of slimfast and Hollywood diet, with a weekend of soups and eggwhites in between.  I'm 5'8" and at 195 right now.  I need to be 170 by Jun 1st.  I lost 5 pounds in a week so far, with a good exercise routine.  I just need to keep up the motivation as well, and avoid smelling pizza.  One of my tricks is Vicks Vapor rub in the nose when I think I'm going to be smelling food.  I carry it everywhere, and I chew on chewing gum.

My big challenge will be keeping the weight off after June.  THAT will be the tough one.

I just started Slim Fast 3 days ago. I am using it as a meal replacement for dinner. I weigh(ed) 168 at the time and my immediate goal is 150 by June 1st, 135 overall.

I drink 2-3 cups of green tea in the morning - Splenda, no milk. I also eat fruit all morning.

I have a normal lunch; about 500 calories.

For dinner I have my Slim Fast.

It's been rough, but I need to lose a quick 20 pounds by June 1st. Any tips?

See my post above.  :)

Use the calorie count program, exercise lightly every day, drink 8 or more glasses of water a day.  Is there an event coming up on June 1st?  You can use your last week to lose water weight by going to the sauna and sweating it out, avoiding milk products...(Hollywood diet the last 48 hours).  I've lost 7 pounds this week just doing the slimfast and hollyood diet, and this weekend I'll allow myself more protiens and pureed vegetable soups seasoned with lemon pepper instead of salt.  That last week, avoid salt (including egg whites), and try to minimize your exposure to food.  The trick after that will be keeping it off afterwards, and you'll need to really get down to eating sensibly.

500 calories is a lot for lunch I think.  Average lunch should be no more than 350 to 400.  Drink only water with meals, stay away from sodas, and you're doing great with the green tea.  Spread the green tea out throughout the day, and switch to peppermint tea in the evenings so you can sleep. Peppermint also helps the stomach.

Good luck!!

Last year, i have lost 35lbs,

I started at 205 i now weigh 170 my new goal is to lose another 30 but of course baby steps at a time
