Has anyone tried Slim in 6 and seen results? I start the 2 day fast tomorrow and than im going to begin the program. Start It Up was really easy for me so im going to begin with Burn It Up. I just hope it works!
Sounds interesting.. what is slim in 6 exactly?
I have the power 90 and it is working pretty good.
My sister has tried the Slim in 6 and said she lost a couple inches in her waist after finishing the program.
I was 190 pounds and 5'2.5" (yeah, the .5 is important when you are 5'2". LOL!)when I started Slim in 6. I lost 50 pounds in 4 months! I watched my carb intake pretty closely too... but yeah it worked very well. I stopped seeing results from Slim in 6 after 4 months. So I then started Power 90 and got a LOT of tone and went down to 115 pounds! Whoo hoo! But then I got really sick over this past winter and couldn't work out and went up to 126 pounds! UGH! Back at it again! You get a LOT more tone from Power 90 but Slim in 6 is very effective at dropping weight. Hope this helps....
Thanks! That is very encouraging! Does Power 90 involve any cardio? Or is it mostly sculpt/strenghth?
Like jessiebauer said it has cardio and sculpting. The cardio is like circuit training so even if at first you do it slowly, you will still work up a really good sweat. I am only on my 2 week and I already see and feel the results. I am in a size 12 pant from a 14. I know it isn't much but it feels like alot to me.
Hope this helps.
Yes, that helps alot. I think once im done with my 6 weeks on Slim in 6 im going to give Power 90 a try.
Is Power 90 a six week program? Does it give you a workout calander
Power 90 is a 90 day program. You work out for 6 days one day off each week for the three months. It will give you a calendar to count down with and some info on nutrition. I finish mine in September. I really like the program and plan to use it as maintenance after I get to my ideal weight.
I have a goal to get through all of the Power 90 series. After this one I plan to move to the Power 90 masters series and then to PX90 which is a real bear to tackle. I really like the exercises that the creator Tony Horton gives you in these programs.
As you probably know you can look up all this info on BeachBody.com. But if you like the program you should look up some of Tony's other stuff as well.
Good Luck.
