I did two of the Slim In 6 ADVANCED videos called Tone It Up & Shape it up. They are good and I have continued to use many of the moves I learned in them everyday. I lost 30 lbs in the last 2 years but I can't say it was only from this work out series. I also changed my whole lifestyle and started running. Good luck.

Hi...I am waiting for mine to arrive. I also plan on  starting June 1! Good Luck!

awesome! well definitely keep up with me and let me know how it's going!! mine just came in last night and i'm fighting the urge to run home and start now....but will wait til monday so I can stay on schedule!

I also have Slim in 6.  I made it the full 6 weeks last year and I felt great - I toned up so well!  I would love to do it again...June 1st sounds like a great start date.  You'll be my motivation :)

Awesome! looking forward to it!

I did Slim in 6 back in 2004 and I got amazing results. I lost 35 lbs in 6 weeks. Now after gaining some weight back I am going to start Slim in 6 again. So I too will be starting June 1st. Good luck to all and may I lose 20lbs....

Let's try to write in Monday to see how we did the 1st day.

Awesome! I'm so pumped that you guys are going to join in --- and to hear that it really works!

I'll check in on Monday and let you know how day one went!

Sounds great! Just remember to pace your self. The 1st video seems easy but you are going to be left sore.

So excited to not being doing this alone...

I recall hearing about this several years back.  Is this the program that requires you to follow a special eating/exercise program ?  I think I was a little afraid of following the food guidelines.  Just wondering if this would work just strictly following the exercise guide ? To lose 35 lbs in 6 weeks sounds amazing !!!

The food guidelines are nothing strict but it's the exercise program that is hard. You have to exercise 6 days a week and sometimes you are SO sore that it's hard to exercise 6 days a week. But I did it before and I hope it works again. Good Luck!

ok gals! it's monday!

so how'd we do??

i actually got antsy and did my SIU sessions on Saturday & Sunday --- and even though they seemed easy @ the time....i was definitely sweaty and feeling it! i woke up sore on Sunday morning -- but not so bad that I couldn't workout again.

this morning I did Ramp it Up and it was definitely longer and harder -- but I pushed through it. it's going to take more work for me to get through all of those floor exercises! my pushups are just sad!! :)

let me know how it went for you!

I'm borrowing SI6 from a friend and will be starting it when I get off work today. I don't have any instructions for it but I assume I do 2 days of SIU, 10 days of RIU and 24 of BIU, right?

I'm so excited to finally get to start this! My life has been so busy that I haven't had a chance to. Things have finally calmed down and I should be able to follow the schedule.

That is too funny Skinnycowbelle, I too did SIU this past weekend so that I could just start RIU today.

Since I did this Slim in 6 a few years ago. SIU felt easy but this morning I was pretty sore. So I might have to take it easy doing RIU tonight. So, so far, so good. I ate pretty good today too and hope that we all stay focused. I'll let you know tomorrow how RIU was and if I can still walk from being sore.

good morning ladies!

i've had a solid 3 days of good working out and good eating (along w/ "good" pain in my thighs & abs!).....but TOTALLY slept through my 5am alarm this morning. i'm going to have to do my workout tonight after work instead.

how did you guys do day 1, 2, or 3?

I started yesterday! I was planning on doing  the 6 day jumpstart program....but it was harder than I thought since I don't have enough money to go shopping now...so maybe after the next paycheck??? I did the start it up program and ws definitely sore...but not so bad that I won't do it again today!

Hello, Hello!!

Well I did RIU last night so I too have completed 3 days worth and boy are my thighs, butt, and abs pretty sore. I shouldn't have wore heels to work today cause it's causing me to move my sore muscles. Anywho...tonight will be day 2 of RIU and I hope that I won't be more sore but just to let you girls know, we will probably be very sore by day 6. But when we have Friday off it will help us greatly with recovering.

As for eating, I've done well the past 3 days and I'm pretty focused about the rest of the week but I might need some motivation by week 2 or 3 since I have a pretty bad sweet tooth and have trouble eating healthy on the weekends thanks to my hubby.

Well good luck today and talk to you all tomorrow.

Hello To All!!

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I was busy with my son graduating pre-school. Kindergarten here we come! Very exciting..

So Tuesday and Wednesday night I did RIU. Tuesday night was pretty hard to get through. I'm having a hard time doing the front rotating lunges. I know it's going to take time to get my balance and get through the pain. As for Wednesday night, I had more energy to do RIU than I did Tuesday. I was more sore Tuesday than yesterday or today. I can't wait to complete tonight and get that break.

How is everyone else doing? Is anyone sore or having problems doing Slim in 6?

Well wish me luck tonight and I'll check in with ya tomorrow...

I bought Slim in 6 a few years ago, and it worked well when I used it.  And every time I went back to it, I was always sore at the beginning.  I've been doing Burn it Up 6 days a week for the last 4 and a half months.  It works.  It definitely works.  I didn't lose 35 lbs in 6 weeks, but I definitely look better.  I just ordered the Slim Series so I can get some variety in my workouts.  Plus, while I still sweat buckets every workout, I have a feeling my muscles are just a little too used to doing the exact same thing every day.

Oh, when you get to BIU, for the leg lift portion, Debbie does all the excercises with one leg before moving on to the other one.  I thought I was going to die doing it that way.  I alternate legs.  When she switches excercises, I switch legs.

Happy Friday!!

So, how did everyone's 1st week go?? Last night I worked out and I thought I was going to shoot Debbie by the end. lol! It makes me so mad when she says "If your tired, just march or do a alternate move." Well when I hear the word tired, it makes me feel tired. So I try as hard as I can to ignore it.

Have any of you lost any weight yet in the 1st week? I wasn't going to weigh myself this morning but after sweating so much this week and putting so much work into my diet and doing the DVD, I took a chance. Well after 1 week, I have lost 3 lbs. What a pleasant suprise.

If any of you weigh in, please share your results. I would love to hear them.

Well today is rest day and a little break from eating so strict. But Saturday I will be right back to it. So good luck, don't give up, and please write more!

hey ladies!!

hope everyone had an awesome weekend --- our was hectic, like always -- but i did manage to get two workouts in the weekend adding up to a total of 5 this week (not the 6 i was aiming for...but close).

the consensus? holy sore thighs! wow...and by the time she gets to the yoga stretches @ the end, i'm all set and ready to stop :)

how is everyone else feeling?

i didn't do the 6 day diet --- i think i'm going to wait until the last week for that like it says in the book. anyone else already try it?
