Slimfast gets a "A" ,but yoplait gets a "B+" ??

Why wouldn't I just enjoy "rich hearty slimfast shake" instead of a yoplait. American made and and chock full vitamins.....any down sides to the deliciously, artificially man made concotion?

Ive not checked a slimfast can for a while but if I remember correctly, they are full of vitamins and minerals.  Im not saying Slimfast diet is necessarily the way to go but as far as nutition, I understand them to provide a wider amount of nutrients then most foods.

My downside was hunger when I was on the diet but it may have changed since.  I remember a dieting friend saying she was tired of eating salad for lunch and thinking, "You get to chew salad..."
Also working from memory, I would wait for them to go on sale and dont know if theyre more economical now.  I did lose a ton on it but I didnt feel I got better eating habits from using them.  Someone else might be able to transfer from the plan into a healthy eating plan but personally I didnt.
I don't quite understand the grading system either.  I don't see anything wrong in Slim Fast.  It is just a nutritional milkshake.  When I was going through physical therapy after knee surgery my doc suggested that I drink a high protein boost or if I couldn't find a boost a high protein slim fast.  They are pretty good, especially for a quick breakfast.  Wal-mart actually makes a cheap store brand.  I just wouldn't do the Slim Fast Diet.  It is hard to feel full on that diet.

I've basically made the weight I wanted to be at, but more importantly I can fit into normal jeans, not the relaxed or baggy. I feel and look better physically, but I keep doing the mental game of "what about a couple of more pounds" because of the bmi rating.  I've been eating better and having more frequent little meals which helps, but wanting something sweet.

I guess what I'm trying to say, is a cup of yoplait a better option than a slimfast for a healthy, keep the metabolism up treat??

It depends what type of yogurt... All natural yogurt with no "synthetic" sugar I think is much better than Slimfast, which contains "synthetic" sugar.

The Slimfast diet over time, caused me to have horrible digestive disturbances. Yogurt is healthier for your digestive track.

Basically, calorie counter rates foods by the vitamins and minerals, not whether they are synthetic or natural.  It is scientifically proven that natural food is healthier than synthetic.

Go for that yogurt.
