slimquick cleanse?
Is this a good place to start?
I tried it when I first started my weight loss quest less than a month ago. I didn't really feel any effects from it except for having to go #2 one more time a day than usual. I was pretty consistent with those pills and with my feeding schedule so my #2's were consistent as well.
I don't feel like it did anything for me and I was skeptical when I bought it...but deperate. I made sure to buy it on sale and I found a box with a coupon on it so it didn't cost too much. Probably water will do the same thing. We can naturally clean ourselves out with proper food and liquid consumption, in my own opinion.
Good luck with your quest to be healthy!
Edit: I forgot to add that I lost 2 lbs that week, but then again, I've been steadily losing weight without it.
Ive tried it...... i found that it didnt do anything for me...... and when i was doing the slim quick diet i actually gained alot of weight.... the cleanse that REALLY helped me was taking ground flax seed and flaxseed oil, makes the #2 alot better and you really feel cleaned out and energized.
I tried it when I was desperate to pull my body out of a platuea, it worked and I lost about 8lbs in a week. There is a HUGE draw back though...Something called rebound water wieght retention. As soon as you stop using it you'll gain all of it back AND thensome, rebound water weight retention happens when you start taking any concentrated amounts of food or herbs that act as a diuretic in your system. Your brain turns on hormones to tell your body to hold more water cause you're loosing water too quickly (this happens even if you stay hydrated because the water you drink gets flushed out just as quickly), the longer your body stays dehydrated the more your body will produce this hormone. Herbal quick fixes such as Slimquick can work and do but you have to stay on them. When I got off SlimQuick cleanse I gained 12lbs in three days and it took nearly two weeks for it to come off, after that no more herbal cleansing for me, Thanks! You might do better eating your way to a cleaner body and drinking more water. But be careful cause some of those cleansing diets can be dangerous.
