Has anyone tried the new product Slimquick to help in weight loss?

I saw the new SlimQuick with Hoodia advertised today; I am kind of wanting to try one of the SlimQuicks now that I am finally changing my eating habits, drinking more water and using the treadmill for more than a paper weight. I would be curious as well if anybody has any feedback on and of the SlimQuick products.

I never tried it.. :) but it would be better if you mix it with daily fitness routine.. :)

I would be mixing it with a daily exercise routine - just like I do anything now - changes work better with more calories burned and that means more than just me sitting watching tv

I think it's great if you find something that works for you and you sound like you're in the right frame of mind, since you fully understand that diet and excercise go hand-in-hand with any kind of dietary supplement.  That's where alot of people go wrong.  You should definitely google it and take your findings to your doctor to see what he thinks.

I personally have never used any kind of weight loss aid/pill.  I have seen so many people in my family use, phen-phen, metabolife, trimspa, etc.......and a friend of the family passed away @ 4 years ago from her misuse of these.  One that I have done alot of research on is ALLI.  So far from everything I've read, it seems to be that safest, and most nutrition-based way to advance weight loss.  I'm not going to use it even though I've researched it.  I'm still too chicken to risk it.  For now, I'll do it the good old fashioned way with diet and excercise even if it takes me 5 years!

Good luck and be cautious.

I  have been taking slimquick extreme since last September,  I haven't really noticed a decreased appetite but it is definitely the push I need to get me to the gym.  I don't take anywhere near the recommended dosage which is up to six pills a day.  I only take one first thing when I wake up and another one or two around three in the afternoon.   Since I don't take many during the day I haven't had much trouble getting to sleep at night or anything.  One thing you do have to make sure of is not to take in any other forms of caffeine since one pill is something like 6 cups of coffee.  I especially liked that it didn't make me feel jittery or like my heart was going to explode!  :)  Iwould say it is worth a try.  One draw back is sometimes if I don't take them I get headaches from the lack of caffeine I assume.

I am glad to hear th someone has at least tried it.  I bought the product, but haven't started taking it yet.  So, would you recommend it?  Have you lost weight from it?  Thanks for the tip on the caffeine with using it.

I would definitely recommend trying it, just make sure you are only taking what your body needs.  I have heard that overusing them can mess with your metabolism which none of us want!!!!  :)  Good luck and let me know what you think!

I found a good coupon for it (like 3$ I think) and I looked at it in the drugstore.  but I didn't buy it.  it was still more than $25 for only 30 little cups.  I don't like that it doesn't say WHY it works!!  u know, at least I know that other diet pills claim caffeine or hoodia or whatever.  also, I didn't like the little single serve cups, that seems so wasteful.

let me know if you try it.  that coupon doesn't expire for a couple months!

I just bought a bottle of slimquick w/hoodia from Walmart for only $19.88.  There was 25% more in the bottle so instead of 60 pills I got 75.  First week you are to take one pill in morning and one pill 6 hours later. Second week and on you are to take 2 pills in morning and 2 in afternoon.  All the Slimquick producst at Walmart were under $20.

Not sure what "cups" you are talking about; didn't see anything with cups - it was all pills or the powder for drink bottles and they clearly state whether they have hoodia or not.
