- heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.saute garlic and chicken until lightly brown.
- place chicken and garlic in slow cooker. add remaining items and mix.
- use low heat setting and simmer for 6 to 8 hours (using crock pot)
- other ideas: add some carrots or more apples, other veggies that are good in stew.
