Slow Cooker Chicken Soup Recipe

Ingredients
3 lbs chicken breast, skinless, boneless
1/2 tsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup water
10 .75 ounce) Cream of Celery Soup
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp italian seasoning
1 apple, peeled, cored and cut into eights
3 small red potatoes, cut into eights
1 onion, cut into eights
1 .25 ounce) envelope dry onion gravy mix
Directions
  1. heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.saute garlic and chicken until lightly brown.

  2. place chicken and garlic in slow cooker. add remaining items and mix.

  3. use low heat setting and simmer for 6 to 8 hours (using crock pot)

  4. other ideas: add some carrots or more apples, other veggies that are good in stew.
