Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Stew

220 g onion, chopped
450 g black beans
450 g kidney beans
450 g corn (drained)
225 g tomato sauce
800 g diced tomatoes
3 chili peppers
35 g packet taco seasoning
500 g chicken breasts, meat only

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Stew

  1. Mix everything together in a slow cooker except chicken.

  2. Lay chicken on top and cover. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

  3. 30 minutes before serving, remove chicken and shred. Return chicken to slow cooker and stir in.

  4. This is good eaten with cheese, sour cream, or tortilla chip
