anyone have a hard time loosing weight? esp. when you keep a food log, eat healthy every 2-3-4 hrs, atleast 3-6 times/day. it took me 10 months to loose 45-48 lbs and i have alot more to go. i eat a low sodium, low carb diet. 8-10 glasses of water/day and light exercise. generally 1,200-1,500 cals/day. my diet consists of 2-3 proteins/day, 3-4 starches, 3-4 fruits, 4 vegies, 1-2 dairy. anyone with advice?? thyroid is fine!

I am in the same boat that you are  :( I gain weight fast and loose it slow. It's a battle that is for sure, but the thing that is most important is that you are doing it!  You can always kick your workouts into a higher gear and try and speed up the weight loss. This is what has really helped me, also this will allow you to eat a few for cals and help keep you sane, if that is an issue.

Hope this helps

Well, it took me about as long as you to lose the same amount of weight, but that was with me slacking off this summer.

However, since you said that you have alot of weight left to lose and you have already lost 50 lbs, Im wondering if eating 1200-1500 cals a day is enough for you. Sometimes if you eat too little, you can slow your metabolism and that can make weight loss slow. What are your stats? and do you exercise?

EDIT: Stats are height, weight, age....

Sounds like you've got the eating part right on, so I would say up your exercise effort/intensity.  Add some cardio, lifting weights etc.. Whatever you don't have in your routine right now.  Changing up exercise can really help, because the body gets used to a set routine.

I started on the tony little gazelle, about 15 minutes/day. let's see what happens. I'm curious myself.

thanks for your response!

just started indoor exercise, 15 min/day. it just may be that I need to increase good calories but I think I calculated my target daily intake should be 12-1500 cals/day.

well thank you--YES-I am doing it!! these are very encouragin words. when I look back 10 mo. ago and see I was 48 lbs heavier and it hurt!! lol now I feel better and move better. it's slow but I am doing it!! thanks
