Has anyone tried any of the Smart Ones frozen desserts? I am always looking for healthy dessert options. These look really good, but I was wondering what the portion size is like. I know most are under 200 calories, but if they are tiny portions, it isn't worth it. I just bought these 100 calorie apple crisp things at the grocery store. When I got home and opened the box they were tiny, definately not worth the 100 calories.
If anyone has tried the Smart Ones and can give me some feedback I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Katie
not sure about those, but a few of my favorite low calorie deserts would be:
-south beach diet cinnamon raisin cereal bars (140) (these are filling too)
-diet root beer (1 cal) with 2 tbs cream (40 cals) -- it tastes like a rootbeer float!
-baked apple with cinnamon, or even splenda for additional sweet..I do mine in the microwave (70 calories)
-1 tbs honey (60 cals) -- lasts a while if you just lick it! yum
-1 mug of nestle carb smart hot chocolate (25 cal) with no fat whipped cream (1 cal)
-Deep Chocolate vitatop or vitabrownie (100 cals, filling)
For 150 calories, I'd just get some chocolate. Dove has these truffle easter eggs out right now that are substantial, delicious, and only 150 calories.
Blue Bunny also has personal ice cream containers. The raspberry cheesecake is wonderful, and the whole container is around 200 calories. I also love Weight Watchers cookies & cream ice cream bars, which are big, and about 130 calories.
I've loved everything I've tried. Cheesecake, Cookie Dough Sundae, Eclairs and Strawberry Shortcake.
I do think they are small....but enough I suppose. They do satisfy my sweat tooth. They are not over loaded with sugar grams either.

With you, id rather actually SATISFY my craving with some of the real thing then get some artificial crap thats tasteless and close to the same calories.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I have tried almost all kinds of "diet" desserts. I am just looking for some variety. I'm sick of plain chocolate, ice cream, pudding, ect. I may try the Smart Ones desserts, even though alot of you say they are small. What is small in terms of serving size is after all pretty subjective.
On another note, I just bought some Kashi TLC oatmeal chocolate chip cookies today. They are really good. It is pretty hard to find tasty packaged cookies. I also enjoy Sorbee sugar-free soft-baked chocolate chip cookies.
Thanks again for the responses.

Hello,
I have tried the Smart Ones desserts and I love them! The portions are not huge, but they are not tiny either, and they satisfy that craving for somethign sweet. It is definately worth picking up a package at the grocery store and trying them out. I like the strawberry shortcake and chocolate mousse. Good luck!
Hello!
I haven't tried the Smart Ones, but I love dessert and I have found Chapmans Dutch Chocolate Frozen Yogurt half a cup is 90 calories and they also have a fudge bar that is also 120 calories and both taste great!
Sorry, but my sister made banana chocolate chip cookies today.
Her cookies > Your "smart" ones.
