I'm sitting in my office right now and have had a healthy breakfast of porridge, fruit and yoghurt. I'm fairly full but can't help thinking about toast and hot chocolate. How useful would it be to make some toast and hot chocolate and just let the small waft through to satisfy me? Has this ever worked for anyone or will I just end up eating it??

personally, I would eat it, so for me it would be a very bad idea.
Me too, it would be gone in about 2 sec.
Gone!!! Down the hatch. Don't do it!
By the way, why don't you have some toast and sugar free hot cocoa for breakfast sometime? I don't see it as being a huge no no, personally. Try sugar free jam on the toast instead of butter. Or splenda and cinnamon.
The toast wouldn't even make it onto the plate - it'd be in my mouth! (LOL)
I drink Swiss Miss Diet Hot Chocolate (25 cal/pkt) with skim milk and I would toast a couple of slices of lower-calorie high-fiber bread and spray some no-calorie "butter" spray on it or a little sugar-free preserves. Actually, that sounds really good right now! YUM! (Uh-oh...)
I don't think you can get Swiss Miss in the UK can you? I have Options Highlights which is really good at <40 cals a go. Hmm I suppose I could get some Nimble for breakfast...wouldn't be as filling as porridge though.
A little no guilt treat I like (BTW I'd eat the toast and drink the cocoa) is Reddi Wip-aerated whipping cream in a can-with my sugarfree, non fat cocoa or sf, nf jello chocolate pudding. Both are good plain, but the tiny amount- 4 T., 30 cal. elevates the cocoa and pudding to ambrosia. That brings both types of treats to 100 cal. or less. It's probably so good to me cause I don't bring in any other treats since I'm still in my first month at this.
