I like it with sour cream, lemon and dill, on bread, blinis or pasta. Nothing unusual!

It's not a recipe really, but it's good chopped and added to eggs for an omelett.  I don't really like it cooked and mostly eat it the traditional way, on a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, red onion and capers, olives on the side.  You can make a great canape with plain crackers, a dab of cream cheese, a piece of salmon and a little chopped red onion and capers.

Ohhh pasta salad.  I put in olives and cucumber, and all kinds of veggies. the dressing is a red wine vinegar with olive oil and salt and pepper.  you let the dressing sit for a while before you add it to the salad.  I like to use the twisty pasta.  the tri colored, and you add the salmon last.  It is so so so so so good....  I am going to think on this or wait till I get home to get the recipe so I can e-mail it to you.  really good!

on a bagel (if you can get the montreal kind, they're so much better and smaller and yummier) with light cream cheese.  you put the salon on top with some red onion and capers.  divine....

or you can have whole wheat pasta, with a little fat free sour cream as a base, heat it up and add the salmon and some green onion.  if you want a thinner sauce, add a bit of skim milk.

This is called salmon TarTar and it's AMAZING!  I put it on toasted pumpernickel or rye.  But you can use whatever.

1/2 lb. smoked salmon
1 T.  walnut or olive oil
1 t. lemon juice?  (I can't remember, wouldn't make a diff. either way)
1 T. lite sour cream
2 shallots (diced)
1 bunch dill (chopped)
1 bunch parsley (chopped)
Salt & Pepper to taste

Chop up the salmon into little minced pieces and add all these ingredients together.  I'm confident you'll love this!  Very delicious and healthy! Just top your toasted bread with it and you're good to go.  It's quite filling since it's predominately salmon.

As it is, on toasted rye, with a piece of dill and horseradish whipped cream (whipped cream the real deal, not the spray can, and mix in horseradish to taste).

Or, creamed potatos with chopped dill in it, and a slice of lemon.

Or, on a piece of multigrain sunflower bread, with a bit of butter spread (Brummel or similar) and capers.

Or, thin slices mixed in with whole wheat pasta and a creamy sauce over it.

Or, I am going crazy craving salmon now, leaving the forum for the food store...

Good luck!

ahh if you go on the philidelphia website, theres an ace recipe where you put light philly with garlic and herbs over salmon and bake it...soooo goood!!
