okay, so ive been eating 2500 calories and feel great. my only thing is though i dont eat like meals besides breakfast and dinnner. the rest of the day i just like snack... a few cals here a few cals there random stuff... is this bad? i mean as long as im getting 2500 thats good right?
im really too embrassed to post my eats on the weight gainers: what did you eat today forum bc its so jumbled and random. everyone else on there has like set breakfast, snakc, lunch ,snack, dinner ,snack. how did you get into the routine of set meals? i just sit at home most days so i guess my mindset is that i have all day to eat....
some people might have different opinions, but i think that as long as you are consistently eating 2500 calories (and as long as that is what you need to be gaining weight appropriately) it doesn't really matter how those calories are divided up.
Bah, don't worry, sometimes I too eat like this (aka when there's nothing left in the fridge and the options are Nuts/Cereals/Bars...:p). I don't think it's bad. My family often eat like this, since my mom hates to cook during the day.
It's just annoying when my nutritionist ask me what I ate for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and snacks. Once I told her I didn't have a ''specific'' lunch, she accused me of skipping my meals and restricting. T_T
I agree with what the previous two posters have stated. Although some may disagree, I feel that the way you are eating is not necessarily "bad" at all. As long as you are meeting your calorie goals each day, I do not see it as a problem. Besides, maybe once you feel more comfortable with eating 2500 calories, you will be able to get into a "normal" or regular routine of meals - if that is what you wish. In the meantime, do what you feel is the best way for your body to get the minimum 2500 calories required for a healthy weight gain and body repair.
