Hey everyone! I'm 14 years old and weigh 104 pounds. I want to lose weight and I read that one of the best ways to lose weight is to eat 5-6 small meals instead of 3 big meals. I am very serious about my health and nutrition and I want to lose about 10 pounds. I was wondering if anyone has any healthy snack ideas that are low calorie and could help me lose weight. I am a vegetarian. Thank you so much!

How tall are you Maddie?

I am not a vegetarian but many of my meals and snacks are to help with the calorie count.  I love cottage cheese and fruit or hummus with carrot and celery sticks.  Those are my two favorites.

I'm hooked on the website hungrygirl.com. She has a daily e-mail with super recipies, new food product reviews and great info! She's all about low cal, high fiber, low fat and healthy eating. She's very funny and tells it like it is! She calls out restaurants and products that pretend to be healthy - but aren't! There is also a new book - "200 recipies for under 200 calories" by the Hungry Girl that rocks! Check it out!
