How do you "sneak in" excercise?

Quote  |  Reply

I was wondering if any of you had different ways to sneak in a little extra excercise?  For instance, when I have to use the rest room here at work, I will sneak in 25 wall push ups (plus the fact that the rest room is up a flight of stairs and with my extra water intake...well, you get the picture, lol)  any other ideas?

I take the stairs over the elevator. I work on the 3rd floor so that helps a little bit. I park far away on purpose. I do pushups and crunches while watching t.v. sometimes.
Stairs vs elevators for sure works for me.
Plus I do planks while watching TV.
i run 2 miles on my lunch break or i wake up an hour earlier and go to the gym.

I ride my bicycle to and from work.
I ride my bike to and from class and to and from work! It's great because I'm killing two birds with one stone and I don't have to spend money on the subway
im in the city so try to walk to a fwe appointments rather than driving. Only adds 2-3 miles a day but that adds up over the week.
I get up earlier and go to the gym,  walk the dog at light speed for 30 minutes or so, and do crunches/pushups in the evening.
I sit on a stability ball while working on my computer at home.  I move around a lot and find myself working my core muscles trying to balance or doing crunches to take a break from staring at the the screen.

walking is a great way to lose weight i walked 4 miles a day during the summer

and i lost 40 pounds in just 2 months try it!!! just walk in the streets of your

neighborhood like me

Wow!  these are great responses...thanks everyone :)
