Been sneezing for 2 weeks!!!

Quote  |  Reply

Everysince being outside with my son while my husband was mowing, I have been sneezing.  That was two weeks ago.  Not much that I can take since I have high blood pressure.  I've tried Zyrtec with no success, and the only thing I can think of to do is to make an appointment with my doctor and get an allergy shot.  Cry  I've never had an allergy attack quite this bad:  itchy throat, cough, itchy eyes, sneezing (worst ever!).

How about using that new stuff  that blocks allergies, its a cream for the nose. i was going to try it if i don't stop sneezing i don't like to take meds for allergies since i always end up with a sinus infection.

Best of luck to you.

I haven't heard of it, but I will look into it- I'm willing to try it if it may work.  Thanks so much!!!  Do you by any chance know the name of it?  Wink

Have you ever tried a Neti pot? It rinses your sinuses out with a saline solution and will get rid of anything that may have gotten 'stuck' in your sinuses including pollen. I have a problem using an actual Neti pot because my sinuses are too narrow for the rinse to flow through so I use a similar product called a Sinus Rinse by NeilMed you can get at most pharmacies. CVS and Walgreens carry it by me. It allows me to squeeze the saline solution through. Some people use them as maintanance but I usually use mine for 3-4 days and find relief. It's a little weird at first but it works really well and is totally natural :)

Yes, I have heard of that.  I plan to go to CVS today and look around at a few things. That sounds great since it is natural and I'm having issues with blood pressure right now.  Thanks so much for the advice!

Ok, thanks!  Our noses sound alike, Ratucker5... lol.  Mine constantly itches!!!  It's driving me nuts.  I'm in school most of the day, so I have not gotten around to going to the drugstore.  I plan to today as soon as I'm out of class.  I have to find relief!!
