snow??? really? possibly?

I looked out the window and I swear Im seeing snow flurries!  Its like being in the desert and seeing a mirage so I thought I would ask Whoelse sees it???

Hey slappy...we had about an inch in Erie...but I'll venture a guess that we got closer to 3-4 inches in the snowbelt. I'll know when I drive home because I drive right through it.

It's kind of nice to see some snow...but I'd rather have a HUGE dumping and then let it be overwith.

I know the Southtowns of Buffalo were supposed to get about that much, neeners, so y'all probably got that as well (since... it's the same snowbelt, I reckon)

Here in Southern Michigan we've had snow off and on for 3 days. It actually sticks too...It's real cold. This is the first snow since the first of Dec.

actually, hk...different snowbelt.  That one is to my north.  The one I'm talking about is south of where I'm currently sitting.  Either way...'tis a snowbelt and bound for lake effect when it comes.

yes, they do.  There is the snowbelt just to the south of Buffalo, NY.  And then there is the one just south of Erie, PA, which is actually in Edinboro, Pa.  If you travel from Edinboro to Buffalo, you can actually drive in and out of blizzards and know which snowbelt you're in.

AND, if the winds blow south, there is the chance that Pittsburgh becomes a snowy mess from lake effect...rare, but it has happened.

Come to Edmonton we are supposed to have a blizzard with 10-15 cm dumped and blown all over the place!!  :)  For some reason, mother nature is going about business as usual for this part of the world!!  I hope you get your snow Amy!

I'm on the north side of Lake Huron. We've had some usually snow-less weather lately. It's been raining for the past week, which is very strange (normal is snow from October to April, with the temperture below freezing from the first of December until mid-March).

Today it is snow, there's been a couple of inches... so far.

...lots of cams out there.  =)  Traffic cams, mountain pass cams or ski cams are great to check out weather reports. Just do a Google search, the name of the city or state or area you are looking for and add the word "cam" to the end. So for example, "Toronto cam" will result in a list of cams in Toronto or "Marmot cam" will bring up some of the ski cams in Jasper. I've heard that England, especially London has more cams than any other place in the world. Personally, I like watching the sunset on the West Coast with the selection of beach cams available!

Slappy......my Mom just got stuck in my driveway.  LOL.  It has snowed 6" since last night, as well as a high wind.  They're predicting a blizzard tonight/tomorrow....was supposed to be the worst blizzard in 18 years....now they're saying half a century!

Good GAWD.  I'm guessing it's a "Snow Day" for my girls tomorrow!!  YAY!!!!!!  They're SO excited!  (Even though Sid's still sick...she's still excited.  LOL)

I miss seasons.  I won't even dare say what the weather is like in Los Angeles right now.

Woke up to shovel-able snow this morning.  Still, it wasn't as much as I would have liked...about 4 inches.  We're still supposed to get snow again today, perhaps another 6 inches.
