Make this quick skillet dinner on a busy night and satisfy the whole family.
| 1 | pound ground turkey |
| 1 | small onion, chopped |
| 1 | green bell pepper, chopped |
| 1/2 | teaspoon garlic powder |
| 1 | teaspoon salt |
| 3 | ounces (about 3/4 cup) bow tie pasta |
| 26 | ounce chopped tomatoes, drained |
| 4 | ounce mushroom pieces |
- Combine turkey, onion, bell pepper and garlic powder in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until turkey is browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Stir in salt.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
- Add tomatoes and mushroom pieces to skillet; mix well. Add pasta.
- Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occcasionally, until liquid is absorbed and pasta is very tender, about 5 minutes.
