Somebody help...i ate 300 caloriess total today
i only ate 300 calories today. i probably burned them all off too. i worked out alot and ran. its becoming such a problem because i really love cake and ice cream and stuff and i want to eat it so bad but then after i eat it i hate myself and its like my mind makes me see fat where it isnt. i really want an apple right now but i know i wont be happy after i eat it. im 5'4 and 114 pounds. this isnt healthy but this is the only way i feel happy

What I'm saying is this posting is in the wrong section of this forum, this is about losing weight, not gaining.
There is a forum on gaining weight, and a forum on general health questions, please moderators can you move this post to the gain weight area. thanks

What's inappropriate is that the OP still is looking to lose weight.
skinnygirl jo - You weigh close to the minimum for good health. Losing more would be a Bad Idea. A lot of people have told you to eat 1200 calories - the bare minimum for a weight-loss diet - but you need to eat more than that because, as I said, losing more would be a really Bad Idea.
Why is this in the weight loss forum?
Very nice people, why does it bother you that this post is here? Surely, a moderator will move it sooner or later but in the meantime you could show some support. If you cant then be quiet.
This a website supporting healthy weight loss and such,but some people may feel lost on the way on becoming healthy-whether its undereating or binging. We are here to support each other. Don't read the thread if you find it offending,duh.
To the OP: Seek help. Eat. Talk to you family, friends or doctor. This isn't healthy and you know it but it seems you are unable to stop on you own. So please, get some help.
skinnygirl_jo, you should take a look at some of the posts in the weight gain and health & support forums from girls who are trying to recover from EDs. Some of them have serious health problems, and many of them aren't allowed to excercise until they get up to a certain weight. Please please please don't let that happen to you. Change your life around NOW! Please see a doctor about this. You are at the absolute bottom of a healthy weight range, and by eating so little every day, your body is already using its own muscle for fuel. You're not giving it a choice. Your central nervous system can't use body fat for fuel. It needs glucose, and if you don't provide that, it will break down muscle tissue for it. You don't want that. Just from a looks standpoint, muscle makes you look good. You will never achieve your ideal image if you continue down this path.
You may not be underweight yet, but make no mistake. You are anorexic. But you can get help and get better before you do any permanent damage to yourself if you do something about it NOW.
If you don't want to see a therapist, go see a nutritionist STAT. You're "diet" is based on fear and that is completly a syptom of ED. The nutritionist will teach you a new approach to food and educate you on how it's a fuel and not the enemy. Not knowing is the root of all fear...please go get help. Saying to your bf "I don't want it to stop" really scares me.

I guess I expect too much from people. There is a ED forum and a weight gain forum. I'm at a loss why an underweight gal who eats 300 calories is posting in a forum clearly titled WEIGHT LOSS.
this got posted in weight loss because she HAS an ED and IS TRYING to lose weight.
She didn't know she had an ED. (or was never forced to realize it)

However, skinnygirl, be forewarned....We are absolutely here to help you and to try to support you, but we can't help those who refuse to help themselves. I think you should seriously think about whether this is the right website for you to be on. People in Health & Support have a wealth of knowledge for you, but you have to be willing to try to accept it and be open to it. Otherwise, we might as well be talking typing to a brick wall.

So you can keep track of what you eat - which enables you to analyze your foods and receive the following:
- Health Score of your overall diet
- Warning when you approach your daily calorie limit
- Overview of the good and bad nutrients
