Someone help me with this one!
ok, I was going to make a steak(top round) & veggie stir fry tonight, its going to have ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and soy sauce. How can I find anything similar in the foods??? I have no idea how much calories it would be worth....should I just avoid making this meal altogether?
What can I make thats good for me, but that my family and kids will like as well? This is the hardest part for me!!
That should not be a problem. First of all the ketchup, brown sugar and mustard are probably just a sauce/glaze right? So that will not have that many calories to even sneeze at. Second of all I would go to my food log and look up each item and record them separately, like brown sugar (I looked it up) has 11 calories in 1 tsp. and you are not the only one eating it so that cuts that even more.
All in all that sounds like a really healthy dinner, maybe throw in a green salad to take up some more space in your stomach to fill you up and you would end up not eating that many calories.
Thanks, I was planning on maybe having a salad with it. I can't find the steak in the foods list though...I've looked, maybe I should just find the closest to it and use that. I'm only using one of those thin flat Top Round steaks, and I won't be eating much of it.
Use the recipe analyser to figure out the calories for a complete serve.

Hehe thats where I got it from. Seemed really simple and easy, but I threw in some broccoli, green beans, carrots to make it more healthy...
And it was REALLY YUMMY!!! Everyone loved it, that will def. go into rotation for my menu!
