i think someone messed up

Quote  |  Reply

so i went jean shopping today since my old size 9's refused to stay up. much to my surprised i fit comfortably into a size 1. i dont believe this, i bought the pants and have worn them for 3 days and still dont believe it. i think theres something wrong with them. i bought 2 diff pairs, both were stretch skinny black wash denim. btw the store was wet seal. ive shopped here before when i was fat and the sizes seemed normal. anyone know if they recently started messing with their sizing or something?

Maybe a 1 is like a 1x or a large? People that size things are weird. Were other jeans sized the same way? What did the 9 even look like? I mean the label on the back of a pair of jeans isn't true to anyones "real" size. They're not done in inches when you find them in every day stores. Sometimes I wish I was a man, or had the money enough to buy designer jeans. Then I wouldn't have to try everything on. I've fallen out of a size 0 and have had size 4's fit me tight. I say I'm a 2, but I do own quite a few 0s and a pair of 4s. Just depends on the brand and how they decide to label.

Talk about vanity sizing, NY&Co is the worst. I tried on a size 6 skirt in there yesterday and it was falling off, so I had to get a 4, a freakin 4 even at my smallest I've been a 6 and now 7 pounds over my goal weight they want me to think I'm a size 4 LOL. In my best fitting jeans I'm a solid size 8, they can't fool me.

I really hate when they mess with sizes!  Don't they know that we'll only have to try more stuff on and their employees will just have more to put away?!  I've only bought something because the number on the tag was low once.  Yeah, fool me once, shame on me.  Now I could care less.  I prefer the stores that are consistent!

me too...

but you know what...

because of that, i decided to let myself go in a diet plan with exercise...

and now i can wear all those jeans sized 24!

It's sad but the clothing industry thinks they are doing us a favor by reducing the size of clothing.

no def not a size 1x. i did compare myself to some sizing charts of juniors type stores and i did kind of match up to the size 1.... idk hard to believe im just  1 step away from zero

Who knows. I bought a size 12 pants from walmart when I'm normally a 16. It's rediculous sometimes haha

You know who else is good for that - Anne Taylor - when you are having a bad day go try their stuff on - you are always small there ;)
