i don't know what butter tarts are, but they don't sound very appetizing. steer clear of them!
What have you ate today?  Did you hit 1200 calories at least?
If you are hungry then eat something healthy. Cravings come when your body or your soul wants something that it is not getting.
Even if you eat some and purge them you'll still absorb most of the calories so it's a bad idea. You probably only want to binge because you're starving, so eat a proper meal.
Don't binge and purge butter tarts!!!

Why would you do that to such a time-honoured Canadian tradition!? (sorry I had to play the patriot card)

Also, I'm just thinking, the combination of acid and sugar would be soooo bad for you teeth.

I really hope you didn't. If you did, don't brush your teeth afterwards. It will scrap off the enamel.
Imagine each one of your butt cheeks as a buttery tart!
It's not going to be worth it! Just wait a little bit and wait for that pre-binge feeling to go away. Maybe drink some water too. After the feeling goes away, if you are really hungry then eat something helthy that you know you won't binge on.

I really really really hope you don't do it. But if you do... we still like you. :]
Did you ever think to eat something VERY slowly?

I find if I eat slowly and chew really well, then the flavour stays in my mouth longer.  It is often the flavour that I enjoy, so why not make it last longer instead of more?
Just one question.  What were butter tarts doing in the same house as you?  The only thing that saves me from midnight raids on the cookie jar is that my cookie jar now holds rice cakes.
lmao at that. i have a suggestion, and this may not work for you but here goes.. i used to LOVE chocolate, but now i have a few chips 3-4 times a day, and frankly, i am sick of them. I don't crave fudge cake anymore! so maybe having half a butter tart per day would help your craving?
thank you guys soo much. i didn't binge on them. i let myself eat two sugar-free cookies instead, even though i still felt like crap after.

lol, i didn't realize they were a canadian tradition until i looked them up online. i just always took them for granted, cuz they've always been at the grocery store and me + dad ate them all the time when i was younger. they were in my house, because my dad likes junk food :( if i lived alone, i would never buy them at all lol.
