Weight Loss

Besides the obvious points of putting what you ate in your day on here and counting the calories, try putting what you will eat TOMORROW. that way on a full stomach you can thoughtfully plan your meals and tweak it here and there to be sure you dont over do it. then when youre hungry remeber/consult the plan and then you will be less likely to go ravage the cubbord for whatever salty sweet spicy whatever that sounds good in a bout of hunger pains but youll regret 5 mins later. Idk if anyone else does it, i am new. but i have done it the past couple days and it really saved me the excess calories. hope this helped!
also- tomorrow is the first of the month as someone else said, consider it a fresh start if you did have one too many crackers or over indulged on desert. i have very long hair and on friday i am cutting it all off for a semi-short cute cut for a new start and help myself see that i can really look like a very different person. i changed my lifestyle so why not change something i felt defined me for so long, you know? just a thought. goodnight ladies. :)

And guys... Anyway that is a good idea, and I will have to remember to do that once I get back to Misawa. Thanks for the tip.
oh, sorry my apologies :) goodnight fellas
hey stephanie.... thanks a lot... its a wonderful tip and i'm going to follow it rite away!!! cheers!!!
It's true. When I pre-plan I always lose more.
:-D
yep, deffinetely, i dont actually enter it in the planner but rather use the planner to decide what i will eat the next day, and i always make sure its below what im aiming for. . . for example if im aiing to eat 2000 cals a day with 500 cal excersise ill put in 1600 cals worth of food as i tend to go for snacks at night, this way even if i eat a snack before dinner i wont go over my wuota and if i dont eat a snack ill be even more under which will be even better. . .
Note, i only aim to have a 500cal a day defecit so eating 2-300 cals less is still only a 7-800 cal deficit, well within whats healthy for weightloss, especially if only done on 2 or 3 days a week :-)
Hey I just started doing that! It's really helpful. I tend to think I'm going to overeat and then wind up a few hundred calories UNDER at night, so this helps me keep it balanced. My only problem is that my mom cooks dinner a lot, and I don't know what she's planning until about 4PM but it's usually healthy and around 400 calories so it's ok. Also, if I find myself getting hungry, I can tell myself, "well, you planned a granola bar in half an hour. can you make it?" Most of the time, the answer is yes. At the moment I am trying to eat 1500-1700 calories a day and planning is really helpful.
