Quote  |  Reply

hey x im kinda new here , i joined for mabye not the healthiest of reasons ( i wanted to loose 16 lbs in like 40 days ) , i know my self now that my head is kinda screwed up, and i dont know what or why ..

somedays, i wont eat,

others, if i do , its like once a day

somedays i cant help it if im so hungry and binge ( sometimes im sick ) but im not really losing any weight because of this.

i lie in bed at night , i cant sleep well , and im always feeling to see if i can feel ribs or hips ( my hips have always stuck out tho theyre the biggest part of me ! , and i can only feel my ribs a tiiny bit)

i still feel massive, im 116lbs, and im 5'3" , so its not like i cant afford to loose a few lbs.

my period hasnt came in about 2 months and a half now, but im defo not pregnant , but i read it can be because of eating, i have lost 5kg in a month which is normall so i dont know

any idea what this could be ? i reaaly dnt think im anorexic or bulimic , i just dont know whats wrong tho its rly quite scary now ...

p.s ( just so u know ) i dnt want to be the sort of person who starves themselfs half to death i am determined never to let myself spiral out of control like that !

If you are 5'3" & weigh 116 and you think you look massive, then you need to get yourself to a counselor immediately.

You also need to learn how to type. No one wants to read a post that is almost entirely made up of textspeak.

sorry x

yes. thats crazytalk.

What does x mean?

And yeah. If you go to middle school or high school, find your school counselor and set up an appointment. If you go to college, they offer free service from therapists.

yh it scotland x and i dont think we have school councellor

and i dont really know what x means , i just have a habit of typing it , i polite anyway please dont worry x

I don't know if your random x's scare me, or intrigue me... x

ok thats good then  x lol x

Is x kisses?  Like, xoxo?

your body is telling you its dealing with malnutrition, whether or not you think you have an ED.

read up on the dangers of it. It's no good.

I don't know what exactly you are asking for. Yes, your eating is disordered and yes, you need to seek help for it. Please do not post if you are not in active recovery.

Promotion of starvation diets or habits that exhibit signs of an eating disorder ("pro-ana", "pro-mia", etc.) is prohibited.

Currently, your at a BMI of 20.5.  This does fall in the normal range.  It's not your weight that concerns me though.  It's your view of yourself and eating that worry me.

You feel "massive", you binge and restrict, and your period could be effected by that.  Your whole way of thinking seems to be skewed.  And even though you are not underweight at this point, you are striving to get to an underweight goal.

We here at Calorie Count aren't really equipped to diagnose eating disorders.  However you do show signs of disordered eating.  I highly suggest you talk to a parent or other trusted adult and have them take you to your doctor.  Being on this site could make things worse for you if your views of yourself and your views towards food are unhealthy.

Sincerely,

Michelle ~ volunteer moderator

Your weight is healthy, but what you're doing isn't. If you lose 16lbs you won't be healthhy and that's bad.

You need to talk to someone, I used to be a healthy weight but didn't do healthy things and I ended up unhealthy. It's a struggle. Talk to someone asap. Good luck.

you need to get help asap . i think you are suffering from an eating disorder it isnt just about weight , your weight may be in the healthy weight range but you are certainly not being healthy . just the fact you have no periods inticates this. you say you dont want to be one of those people who starves themselve to death but this is the road you are going down get help please h x
