What about the 20 somethings...

Quote  |  Reply

This forum seems to have a lot of posts by/for teens... where are the 20 somethings?

I just realized I'm creeping up on the second half of my 20s, I turn 26 in February. February is a fun month for us, our wedding anniversary is the 4th, my husband's birthday is the 12th (he'll be 32) and then my birthday on the 17th. I can't believe I'm about to have my 2nd wedding anniversary AND that I'm about to turn 26, time is flying!

Actually, my 21st Birthday sucked. I think my 23rd or 24th was one of the best ever. So, there are still fun Birthdays, no worries!

Here's to hoping you never do.

That's me too. 29 really doesn't seem different from 19 at all.

I am going to be truning 25 in February, and it is quite depressing! I know technically it is still 'young' but I am already seeing changes in my body and feeling old and tired!

24, 25 in March. bah calorie counting for my wedding.

21 - will be 22 in three weeks. oooh, no more fun b-days :(

That's exactly how I'm feeling, too! I'll be 22 in April. I say next year, when we're supposed to be turning 23, just go back to 21. It'll probably be more fun Wink

Another twenty-something here :) I turn 22 in April, hopefully I won't have another mid-mid-life-crisis! I'm one of those who wishes she could be 19 forever. I'm a big kid and probably will never grow up :D

But my party-hard days have taken it's toll so I've some weight to lose. D'oh!

22, to be 23 in a few months. Getting my Masters right now and debating whether or not I should jump straight into law school or wait a year or two. (Former most likely).

I have the mentality of a 4-year-old most the time - sparkly/shiny things distract me easily. And furry animals. :P

Weight's been a problem for me since I was like...10? Whereas people gained the freshman 15 in college, I actually lost weight. This is because my dad is a professional chef so...my mom and I were always well-fed. Very well-fed, lol. When I got away from home I finally got around to not eating 24/7.

Right now I'm working on losing the last 10-15 lbs (I've gone from ~160lbs to 125lbs). Then I'll be DELIRIOUSLY happy :).

I am 22, but everyone says I look 15-18. It gets really annoying because I don't like people thinking I am a high school student when I have actually graduated from college. Last year I went shopping at the mall around the time of prom, and I had people who worked at the mall asking me if I had bought my prom dress yet. Then about a month ago, my husband and I were having some work done on our house and there was electrician here. The electrician actually asked me if I was old enough to drive because he needed the car in the garage to be moved out of the garage. It's rather embarrassing.

Oh I hear ya! I'm 22 aswell and as seen in my profile pics I look like what - 14? Last year in greece, a travelguide asked me if I "left's middle school yet" (middle school where I come from -> age 12!!! Yell)

Usually people think I'm about 15... Sometimes I also think even my parents didn't realize yet that I'm an adult for a fair while, it's depressing..

oh and yeah - 20's something here ;)

I'm 20 and my finace is 20 too. I'm on here cause I want to look sexy for him. He's already a rail... jerk. I'm in college. I honestly believe I gained alot of weight casue of college food. So I'm weak. I teach and stuff. Thats all. I'm new to the website and just looking for some friends.

:)

I'm just turning 20 here in less than two weeks, so I cheat and say I'm twenty already, haha. My fiance's 28. And the reason for being here....well, I soon have to fit in a wedding dress, of all things. So there we go. lol. College freshman here.

I am 25 turning 26 in March. My friend and I just signed up last week. So far I think I'm doing pretty good. My only problem is my husband. He can eat anything so he hates when I only make low calorie foods.
Yeah, this forum is making me feel old too...I'm turning 23 in february and in May my husband and I will be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. AND my daughter turns 1 in July. Time sure does fly lol!

I'm turning 26 in March. My second wedding anniversary is in April. I told someone last month about something my husband did and she gave me the "you're to young to be marred!" look. Her mouth was hanging open and everything. I always find things like that very entertaining.

Jamie23: When in March? Mine is March 10th.

Ill be 23 in April. Ill be married for 5 years this May! Time flies!
I'm 20 and I get mistaken for being younger too. It only really annoys me if I forget to take my ID with me when I go out. I've been told to leave a few places before because of that.
I'm 22 turning 23 in February (I saw a few posts that were the same...Yey for February babies!) But 22 was a bad year for me... so I'm looking for a fresh start. And as for those who were mistaken to be younger than they actually are... how about being mistaken to be your sister's mother! (my sister is 18!) Oh yes, that's happened to me more than once.. lol
