Any 20 somethings looking to lose around 40-50 pounds?

Quote  |  Reply

Hey all. I am looking for several people who have the same weight loss goals as me to be held accountable to and talk about receipes, advice etc. I am 5'9 and I currently weigh 200 pounds, down four pounds from when I started working out about 2 weeks ago. My goal weight is 150 pounds.

I just signed up for CC this evening, but I'm definitely not new to the diet game. I'm 5'9" as well. I was 223 this morning and my goal is to get down to 160. I have an extremely difficult time exercising due to lack of motivation. I'm definitely interested in doing an accountability thing.

Awesome!!

Weighed in today...4 pounds down from last week! I was so excited. Then I called my dad and he had all sorts of unpleasant things to say. I don't know about anyone else but the men in my life are so not supportive!!!

Forgot to eat breakfast this morning...had to run to class. Ended up going out for lunch to celebrate...after a workout of course:). Tried just having some tuna and crackers tonight to offset the fast food for lunch. The ended up not having the sandwich I had because it was on special on cc. So I had to pick something similiar to it even though I know the calories are way off. Oh well. Even with that measurement I'm four hundred calories short of my 1,700 goal today.

How did you do?

I am!!! I'm only 5'7'' though...short.

I weigh 159.

I would like to lose 40 pounds (more).

I've already lost about 7.

Hi there,

I'm Sarah.  I've been on CC for about a month, and in that month, I've lost about 11 lbs.  I'm 5'10", and currently weight about 243 lbs.  My goal is to weigh about 180 lbs.  So, I've got a ways to go, but am working at it.  Are you still looking for people to do this with?

Let me know...

Hey there! I'm in the exact same boat as you! I am 5' 9" and at about 200 pounds. I have a naturally muscular frame, which I know adds to my weight. Right now I am at about a size 12 or 14 and would like to get down to a comfortable size 10. I really love to workout, and I do so about 5 days a week, but it's my eating that's the problem. I love lifting weights and doing cardio, but I have a hard time controlling food portions-that's my biggest obstacle. I look forward to hopefully sharing some good insights together!
