What is your most motivational song you listen to when feeling down, or struggling to do that last 10 mins of jogging?

I love listening to Fighter by Christina Aguilera and thinking of all those people at school who called me fat, and my friend who has never believed in me and thinking hell yea! You aint gonna stop me! Thanks for making me stronger!

I honestly believe it pushes me that bit further. Cant help but smile.

So whats your motivation song and who does it go out to?

Tongue out

Don't Stop Believing - Journey

Cheesy I know, but it puts me in a really good mood and really helps.

Stronger - Kanye West

It is also a good song to keep you pumped.

Stronger is such a great workout song I used to ike pump it up by dmx ? (i think) but now it annoyes me also jump by girls aloud or anything black eyed peas usualy gose.

Motivational not so much but something I connect to is strange by the feeling, it reminds me of er me.

ok, I though of one more because I am getting ready to go and work out right now and I was going through my iTunes mix. This might be a bit much but

Nasty Naughty Boy - Christina Aguilera

I love listening to it because I know that by working out I will work into a body that I feel sexy in and I know my boyfriend will go crazy for it. This song just gets me thinking about the day I can do a sultry dance for him and not feel like a hippo..

:) on my way!

Aerodynamic by Daft Punk!!

Well...anything by those guys haha

And Crimewave by Crystal Castles as I discovered today...I can't resist it on the dancefloor, it seems I can't resist it's charms on the old trampoline either!

And if I'm in a lazy mood where I give up easily, I kick my ass with Aphrodite drum and bass brutality. If that doesn't force me to work up a sweat I may as well just go back to bed haha

Hmmm... I would have to say Extraordinary by Liz Phair and Never Too Late by Three Days Grace. =]

Kind of an older song but: "That's the Girl I've been Telling You about" by Blessed Union of Souls.  It's kind of bouncy and makes me think "yeah, I can go ten more minutes on the elliptical."

pain and just like you by three days grace!!

Stand up and Be Strong - Soul Asylum

Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi

Both a little cheesy, especially the first one, but both have that great "Keep going" message that we all need from time to time!

A strange discovery (against what I usually would work out too) is the entire NIN "With Teeth" album is what gets me through those really hard days or the days when I need/want/ a little bit of that angry "HELL YAH" motivation.

Specifically the song "Only" - It's got a little bit of that "I'm redefining myself" jive.

I have to agree with Kanye's 'Stronger' as one of my favourite "I can get through this workout" songs. Rihanna's 'Please Don't Stop the Music" gets me moving too. Makes me focus on being hot and sexy on the dance floor ;)

Anything by Staind or Tool

Janet Jackson's So Excited remix totally gets me through the last 10 mins of my run! Also, Missy Elliot can normally pull me the last leg......it goes out to myself & being determined not to give up

Never Gonna Stop - Rob Zombie (chants "never gonna stop", excellent for getting through last 10 minutes or the fast periods of HIIT!)

Pretty much any Rob Zombie or White Zombie. There is one song in particular that goes out to all the meanies and jerks who have sought to tear me down...it goes "one two three, who should I kill? Every m**f**r runnning up the hill"...I always imagine those jerks chasing me up a big hill and i get to the top and have ultimate power and can decide who lives or dies muah hahaha (I have issues) (I am actually a very gentle person lol)

NIN was great when I was very very angry and going through a painful breakup with my now ex....I tore through a LOT of miles on the treadmill listening to NIN and all revved up about cutting him out of my life...in particular song that goes "there is no you, there is only me"...not sure who was who in my mind...

And Hot Hot Heat is nice and peppy...I find NIN a little too angry now that i am happy Smile

Alive With the Glory of Love -- Say Anything

fly - hilary duff

i don't exercise to it but i love the message and like singing it in the car :)

Run to the Hills-- Iron Maiden...

I'll Make a Man Out Of You-- Mulan (I am SO weird.xD)

The Hand that Feeds-- NIN

For weights:
Last Resort-- Papa Roach
We Will Rock You-- (The original by Queen) or the cover by Five

LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out

That song gets me all fired up and gets me off my butt.

we're in this together by NIN.

it goes out to someone who means the world to me,

and the reason i want to be stronger.

I stand alone by godsmack.  It reminds me that someone else cant do this for me! Also anything by Bob Wills for just walking.

Messed up (Hidden Track on Aaliyah's last album) Aaliyah

This song can and does go to anyone who has ever screwed me over in any way, it totally makes me feel like "Over it"!Cool
