I have recently started the sonoma diet.  I love it...  To me its just cooking more with alot of fresh veggies and herbs..  I am having great sucess on this diet and I was wondering if anyone out there has tried it and what they think?

Wow, I hope the Sonoma diet doesn't make you look like the people in Sonoma.  I went to school there, and let me tell you, their population is FAR more obese that Marin or SF.  ;)

Veggies are always good for you though.  Do you have a link to the details?

I haven't heard of that diet. I'd love a link to some details about it.

hahahaha kaffwynn, i live in sonoma county! guess i'm a rarity though, i'm not obese.

i just think the name of this diet is kind of funny, we are pretty well known for our food around here, i guess!

Here is a link with some information.

I prefer the Rohnert Park Diet of Red Lobster, Olive Garden and El Torito :-)

Although the smell of cow manure in the air may spoil your appetite, I don't believe the Rohnert Park Diet would be very conducive to weight loss.

Dude, that's just the SONOMA AROMA, it's part of the charm!  :)

Seriously, when I went to school up there, sometimes it was SO overpowering getting out of the car in the morning.

Back to the original poster... I looked at the website, and it doesn't look unhealthy.  However, I'm wary of any "planned" diet that makes you buy books.  You'd do just as well reading the information on CC, and structuring your eating habits based on wholesome homemade food within your calorie limit.
