I know that this is all probably old stuff to you guys... but I'm still a bit confused. So, I've eaten 1300 calories today so far. I eat around 1500 a day to lose weight. If I were to eat 1900-2000 it would be just to maintain... I burned 586 calories in the gym, so do I eat 1500 or do I eat 2086 calories???
Thanks for the help
Sorry for being the annoying newbie who doesn't do her homework ^_^
No need to apologize. We all started out as newbies. ![]()
You would need to to eat the 2086.
Good luck!
Thanks! It's good to hear this! lol I'm so hungry and I was worried that I was done eating for the day.
Thanks for the help :)
Another question.....is this known as "eating back calories?" I've seen people talking about this before but didn't quite catch the meaning....I can eat back the calories I've burned for the day? If true, this concept is much more doable than starving the next day because my body is craving calories.
Yeah, people call it "eating back calories" - I like to think of it as keeping your deficit at 500 cals - in other words, whatever you burn by the end of the day, you can eat 500 less than that
