Anyone doing or have already done this program? I am on day 4 of phase 1 and very pleased with the results!

BTW do you think do you think one week or two weeks between Thursdays are best for weigh in.  The only reason Im thinking double is because if TOM is a factor, youve got the 2nd week to balance out.  Im still up for single week but thought I'd see what you guys think.
IM still in for the weigh in every week thats fine with me.  Carie my favorite south beach recipe is the grilled salmon with rosemary....salmon is expennsive so its a treat when I get it.  Also love all the desserts except the ricota creme crap.  I m back to losing again and hope to be 169 for this weeks weigh in.. the 160's sound so good I havent been there for over two years.  my goal weight is what I was in highschool  My husband has never seen me that small..  Sexy wife and mom here I come and I cant wait.   Im frustrated that it is so slow to come off  every morning I think..all this hard work and its taking soooo long.  Didnt seem that hard to put it all on.  I want instant results and theres nothing to do about it but give it time.  Everyone is starting to put up pics  I think Ill put my kids picks up but Im still freaked about putting my own up

Not sure if they uploaded correctly!!  I'm seriously thinking of putting up a before & after pic of me when I start my diet.  Going in this evening to do my metabolism test.  Really looking forward to starting it now!!

I bet you will do great at the weigh-in.

Think I got them let me know...My goal weight is 140  dream weight is 130-135 so I can play with a few lbs especially over the holidays
Seen them - your kids are so cute!!  I'd say there will be a few hearts broken when they are older!!

How is everyone doing today? Phase two is going pretty well. I had a Turkey sandwich on a weight watchers whole wheat bun for lunch yesterday, its was pretty awesome to have a sandwich! I am seriously getting annoyed with my weight loss. Last time I weighed myself I was 149 that was Sunday, this morning I was 152.....what is going on here?? Every time I get on the scale its different and I feel like nothings really happening. My boyfriend lost the full 13 pounds on phase one ... I lost like 6..... GRRR

I feel like its time to buckle down and exercise i'm just so busy. I wake up for work at 9 and I normally don't get home till about 8ish.... Bye the time I get home i'm exhausted and stressed. I know I'm making excuses but I really need to find something I actually like doing. Their is yoga in my building here but I did research and apparently yoga doesn't make you lose weight....its also 150 a month which is a bit crazy.

Enough about me! How is everyone else doing!!
I agree on the photos Gina!  I'd never have done a photo at my weight but an after pics no fun without a before pic.  I saw one gal do it well, she had a full body shot and a facial portrait shot.  Its interesting how losing weight brings definition to one's face.  I also understand its helpful to have yourself and the camera be in the same location for before after.  I plan to use the same dress if I think of it.  I hope you do it Gina.  Adorable babies Sarah and they all are young enough to be babies to me.  Where is Sarah on Santa's lap.  Hope you put your photo up too! 

BTW to Carrie, love the photo but cant which of the two are you? 

Good diet days everyone.  Some emotional eating last night with daughter losing her first 1 month old cellphone.  Of all things, nuts - three handfuls (oh the calories). Phone found this morning at school so welcoming a new healthy food day.
hey jen its mosy likely water just keep plugging away at that diet.  Im very hungry at the moment...dont understand with all the fiber I ve eaten today.  Thanks for the comments about my kids.   There still babies to me too...Ill have to work on that pic of me those are the only pics I have on disk(my computer is ancient)Ill have to get my memory card donwloaded to a disk at walmart one of these days...Is everyone doing okay today.

Today I was called to come do paid research and was leaving when I twisted my knee.  Cant put weight on it, definitely cant walk on it yet when sitting I can lift my foot.  Dont need sympathy, giving my self plenty already LOL.  Thankfully Ive adapted a life with limited mobility but now Im appreciating even the limited steps. 

If Im better in the morning, I'll still head off to the clinic to weigh in.  Its in a hospital so if anything goes wrong with it, Im already there :D.  Wah - was all ready for that research cash.  Funny - it was a food study but its always a few bites and answering 40 questions.  Pretty harmless. 

Perhaps youve seen the commercial Jen with a man and wife where she says that they went on the same diet, he lost say 10 lbs and she gained 2.  Men seem prone to lose more easily and theyre told to consume more calories.  Yet woman do tend to be so much more knowledgable about weight.  Enough of my sexist rant.
hey guys I had an okay day today hoping to get to at least 169.9 for tomorrow but I dont think its going to happen My birthday screwed it all up I know next week will be lots better.  We will have to wait and see..Sorry about your knee jayne hope its better tomorrow  seee you all in the morning  make sure you run in your dreams tonight to burn extra calories  HAHA!!!
BTW this is where we were at last Thursday. Sending light thoughts to all and my legs okay enough to get to the clinic.

srdandekar - starting weight 176 - weight last week 170 - current weight 168 - real name : shruti - location : india...

lost two pounds... still have that feeling... dont know whats wrong with me... i'm feeling drunk!!! cannot even think straight... saw the doc y'day and he's ruled out my exercise altogether... he says i'm exhausted for it... and he's adviced me to add a few carbs to my diet... in the form of fresh fruits...

we had a small accident at the college y'day.. a student fell down while standing on a 15 feet high human pyramid... so no snaps... :( but have one from aaddi's naming ceremony... will upload that today...

hope all of u are doing gr8... wish you gr8 losses (of weight of course)...

Hi Everyone!

I've been gone all week...but knew it was time for the weekly, so here i am!

I'm down one pound...that's it!!!!

I'm so frusterated....I feel like I'm trying so hard, and in phase one...almost at two weeks, i've only lost 6 pounds...

I've had some little cheats...has that kicked me off the cycle?  is the only way to really have phase one work for you is to do it completely clean?

this is my typical day for food:
egg beaters and 3 pieces turkey bacon
salad (with tom...are they allowed??) olive oil & vinegar, turkey deli meat
10-15 almonds
salad, and some meat (chicken, salmon, steak) for dinner
oh...and sugar free jello for dessert.

but i have had some cheats...two cocktails (over the two weeks), corn on the cob, some popcorn, and a weight watchers ice cream bar....

if i stay on phase one will it keep me going??  is there any reason to go to !! other than food boredom??

need advice!  i got all revved up by getfit - i was so excited to lose, and its just going so slow...

i'm not working out...is that it???

Im back at 147 this morning, I sometimes struggle to eat 1285 Cals somedays so don't know what to do.  Have been exercising as well so a little bit down.  Certainly getting bored with eggs for breakfast all the time.  Maybe I should start phase 2 a little bit early

Hey girls! How is everyone today.

So I believe their was supposed to be a weigh in today, but I woke up late for work and didn't have time... I'm trying to stay off the scale for a few days also...the number just seems to discourage me..plus I got my period so I really just don't even wanna know what that number is this week. Oy!

Lje & Sarah - I totally understand how u feel I too only lost about 6 pounds in phase one...and the number on the scale keeps going up and down. Have you been working out? I haven't as much as I should. Last night I started again...I feel that might kick start my weight loss a bit. May be you girls should try that as well....we can track our progress together and see how it goes!

Jayne, I'm sorry to hear about your leg, I hope your feeling better!

Carrie- congrats on the one pound!!

I'm hoping to be down to 140 (10 pounds to loose) bye Halloween...I'm a bit skeptical but im hoping it can happen
