Anyone doing or have already done this program? I am on day 4 of phase 1 and very pleased with the results!
Carie I made the sb oatmeal panckes and added a banana. I didnt need syrup It tasted a lot like banana bread. But then again I havent had real banana bread in ages

Oatmeal Pancakes
1/2 c old fashioned oatmeal
1/4 c lowfat cottage cheese
4 Egg whites
1 Tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Process everything in blender........coat skillet w/ cooking spray cook on medium heat untill both sides are lightly brown......Serves one.....you can add fruit either before blending or after......288 cals before fruit... 28 grams of protein 5grams fiber &nb sp;

Im thinking there will have to be a version of refridgeration even if just a cooler for drinks and any ingredients non dieters will be cooking with.
Coming from someone who has been SBing practically without cooking, Im thinking I'd be just fine camping. For cold, I'd bring hard boiled eggs, sliced low fat deli meats (turkey, chicken, roast beef), string cheeses, boiled shrimp, plus all the raw meats that taste great grilled over fire like lean hamburger meat, chicken breast, etc. Good to bring your nuts and even canned beans.
I think camping would actually be a LOT harder if you were on a carb diet if there could be such a thing. Imagine having to make rice or pasta that require boiling pots. Meat was made for fire. Okay stop thinking about the rice and pasta LOL !

I am bummed. I am up one pound to 153! WHAT! I am just hoping my body is doing something weird, cuz I have been sooooo good!
Not fair alert! That is weird but we know you havent done anything to gain weight and I dont actually believe thats what happened.
Not to be gross but sometimes its that a pound thought previously lost that really wasnt, so perhaps 152 represemted you with an empty digestive track and where as this morning you might not be so 'empty. If your pre menstrual, that coud definitely be a factor. I know thats no fun but Im still betting on you for the second full week.
Granted at my 400+, my early phase has dramatic loss so my 1-2 weeks was 20 lb loss, 3-4 weeks was 13 lbs but then 5-6 was only 2 lbs. I'd stupidy dropped to a 500 cal diet during part of it which could have been a factor and my period had started a day before the weigh in also. I thought I can maintain my 400+ lbs at over 3000 calories so theres no way I should only lose 2 lbs. Then I thought I will focus on next weigh in which hopefully might be that much better. Im betting on you for your two week weigh in.

Directions
- Mix all 3 ingredients together and roll into 20 balls.
- Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C). Bake for 9 to 10 minutes - bake to the size of half dollars.
- Divide the number of cookies by the carbs in the peanut butter to get a count per cookie.
- Note: You can use creamy or chunky peanut butter.

Morning every one Major donut temptation this morning. didnt give in. Licked my fingers though. Came home had some good protien. Now Im satisfied. Had to bribe my kids to get up and around needed a new mouse. Mine broke this morning. Thats why Ima little bit late. Sound like everyones doing great I skipped a work out yesterday so didnt lose as much as Id like. gOing to do an extra 10 minutes today... Id better get cracking. Be fit guys!!!!!

quick question regarding SB- i am on 5th day, doing fine, no Carb cravings except this morning I gave in to a McDonald's Egg McMuffin.
Will this sabatoge my Phase I and have to start again or just keep going and continuing with what I have been doing

Rose I dont think it will ruin any thing , just get bac on track and watch out for cravings for the rest of the day. Even on phase 2 I have a hard time with the allowed carbs esspecially in the morning. Hey Carie I know you havent cheated but it is possible to over eat even if its allowed(Im a big overeater). Try the calorie recorder on this site it helps me to stay with in guidlines..Ive been known to eat at least 1500cals in lean protein thats not including the rest of the allowed stuff on this diet. Fiber supplement is a must in phase 1 helps slow digestion too..
Had to share my quick, new breakfast. I've gotten tired of eggs, so this morning I added a packet of Splenda, cinnamon and some almonds (for crunch) to my cottage cheese. Sounds a little strange, but it satisfied my craving for something sweet. Yum.

Hey Sarah, I still count cals. I am between 1100 and 1300 each day. I only eat at meals and snack time. No extra munching. It will work! I am off to chug some water!!!
Im doing okay with phase 2 I out weigh you by about 27lbs for some reason I think th e bigger you are the faster it comes off at first. Thats the way it is on THE biggest loser. once I get down to your weight I think its going to be verry hard for me

Realized I was confusing Wannabe with GetFit when you spoke of your kids. Like everything else, Im gonna have to make a list. Im picking up that Sarah you are Getfit, correct?
I wouldnt be surprised if there wasnt a SB friendly egg mcmuffin for Phase 2 since english muffins are so much more calorie innocent then say bagels or biscuits. Plus the canadian ham less fat then bacon, and eggs are fine so just speculating.
I agree with getfit that it hasnt ruined anything and just staying true increases having the best initial weight loss. That calorie recorder is a god send. At the risk of sounding lame, I come in low because my appetite is so supressed and I too often end up with dinner delayed so not after it.
Welcome kzfun - that seems like an interesting play on the ricotta thing especially since cottage cheese may be more appealing then ricotta to some.
