I've been counting calories like a crazy person and exercising my butt off for the past two weeks, and I gained a pound! I'm in the 10 lbs to lose by Halloween club and I'm already starting to get frustrated at why the weight just isn't coming off. I've lost about 30 lbs so far and have about 13 left, which is why I joined the group. I'm thinking about trying South Beach, low carb, or a carb cycling diet for a few weeks just to shake things up and maybe my body will get itself back into gear. I know a lot of people have said you gain the weight back as soon as you start eating carbs again, but would I still gain it back if I ate carbs again but counted calories and stayed at my maintence weight? Same question goes for South Beach and the carb cycling diet - I'm wondering if I can maintain the weight I lose on those by going back to calorie counting and exercising like I was before. I'm just so frustrated at this point and willing to try anything!
