Yes! There is nothing good about a Special K bar.
However...when eaten in moderation, there is no need to worry. If you allot it in with your calories and you are eating a healthy diet filled with veggies, fruits, grains and protein, then it's not really something you need to worry about.
If you're using them as meal replacements...maybe try rethinking that. I eat the Special K Bites in moderation. If I know I will want one at night, I make room for it in my daily diet making sure the rest of what I eat is healthy and full of the nutrients my body needs. :)
Same here..I keep some on hand in case I start craving chocolate. And I always work them into my calorie budget.
I'll echo the others - are they great for you - not at all - do I eat them sometimes - yep - especially because they are available in the snack room at work!
They are a great substitute for me, especially at work when everyone else is eating brownies or candy - Are they better than an apple or piece of string cheese - no -- but it is a better option than a candy bar or a giant cookie - I'm eating fewer of these than I used to - but they are a nice treat now and then.

in the ingredients it says corn syrup, fructose.. isn't that considered high fructose corn syrup which is bad??
I just finished researching on HFCS! LOL Actually, fructose is NOT HFCS. Fructose is in fruits. HFCS is made from cornstarch. So if it is just fructose, not high fructose corn syrup, it should be ok. I don't know the rest of the ingredients in Special K bars, though.
Yea, I don't think they are super good for you, or anything, but still, they are only 90 calories. Therefore, when I want a sweet and crunchy snack, they are much better than about anything else other than fruits.
