Low Carb, protein Spelt Almond Bread made with shredded spinach, grated carrot no sugar good fiber source.

Recipe Ingredients for Spelt Almond Veggie Low Carb Protein Bread

1 c spelt flour
15 almonds
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 c shredded spinach
1 carrot
1 egg
1 t olive oil
1/2 c water

Recipe Directions for Spelt Almond Veggie Low Carb Protein Bread

  1. Grind the almonds, grate the carrot and shred the spinach combine together.

  2. Mix dry ingredients and add to the vegetables.

  3. Mix the egg, olive oil and water.

  4. Combine liquid ingredients to vegetable flour combination. Mix well. Batter will be lumpy, add more water if you need to.

  5. Pour into a greased small loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Let cool and slice.
