How much do you spend on groceries per week

I spend about $50. Now that I think about it, that's pretty damn pricey.  :(

There's me, my brother, my mom and my step-dad, so they spend about $240 per week. That includes stuff too that you find non-food related at a store.

For me and my boyfriend I spend well over 200 bucks. But then again, we get two 2-4's of beer a week... Veggies, Meat, Snacks, Lunches, Dinners, Weekends.. It all adds up!
Also, I just really like beer. ^_^

Funny you should ask that.  I went to the grocery store Saturday and noticed a hike in my grocery bill and I hadn't bought any more than usual.

For my family of five I spent $350.  That's about $50 more than usual.  Of course we all pack our lunches which adds to the bill, but is cheaper in the long run.

It varies, but between 150$-175$ for a family of four

We normally spend $150 for a family of four.  However, when I plan out our grocery list I can normally get it down to $100 because I'm incredibly frugal.

for 2 people and 1 cat 50$/wk sometimes less, that also includes other household items like laundry detergent though

I'll estimate about $40/wk as a single person.

There's 2 of us but we probably spend:

$50 a week at the farmers market (veggies and fruit)

$50 a week Costco

$50 a week Safeway

Then my husband eats lunch out like every day... but he pays in cash so I can't track it.  ;)

It's really hard to track on a weekly basis, since we will stock up on things at Costco, and then not buy them for a while (same someties for the grocery store.)  The only things we buy EVERY week, are at the farmer's market.  I would say our monthly total is around $550.

About $120/week for two of us.

When I was single I ate for a lot less. I lived on oatmeal, plain yogurt w/cinnamon, fruit, and frozen veggies. Now that I'm married, he wants real meals with MEAT!

I vary from $30/week to around $60/week (when I have to buy laundry products, hygeine things, etc). However, I do get lunch about 3-4 times a week but it's only about $3 for the tofu soup I get so it's not too bad
Around 75-100 a week, live with my boyrfriend, he work all day so the only meal we eat in the house together is dinner. But I have breakfast, and pack some healthy lunch and snack to go to my work, so I eat more of the food during the week.

well the last time i went shopping (about a week abo) i spent about 400... but that has to last about 6 weeks. To feed 2 adults and a 2 y/o.  I will have to get more produce, but i bought a ton this trip to make and freeze ahead.

I spend about $150- but I go just once every two weeks.  This is for me and my boyfriend :)

$20 per week if it's just food for me and my cat, $30ish if I need to buy health/beauty products.

Drastically reduced from what I used to spend, but I am trying to dig myself out from unfortunate mounds of credit card debt. The reduced food budget I can handle - I can't really afford much junk food, which is good - but I'm having lots of trouble adjusting to Suave brand hair products and drugstore makeup when I used to get salon brand hair products and Clinique everything...charge charge charge. :(

I spend between $150-$200 a week for a family of 3.5 (fiance's daughter Friday-Monday) and a small dog. It varies depending on what additional household products we need like health and beauty or cleaning supplies. Things are becoming very expensive, and I'm not frugal when it comes to certain things.

Gasp...two teenage sons and a husband...probably about $250 a week, but we buy all our household products at the grocery store too, so...I try not to think about how much we really spend there. I also spend about $20 a week at the natural store (for Ezekial tortillas, etc). I know, it's ridiculous. Canada has a shorter growing season or I'd grow more of my own.

i spend about 250 a week, for 3 of us.  we eat LOTS of fresh fruit and veggies!  it does cost more to eat healthy!

I'm a sucker for buying whatever I need to keep this diet interesting and yummy (and organic where possible!) so I spend blindly (thankfully I can afford it)--around $100 a week for just myself, sometimes a little more.

Geez!  I spend about $125-$150 most weeks, and one out of each 4 weeks I spend about $250.  There are two of us adults and a dog I cook brown rice & lamb for.  I spend a LOT, I know.  I buy it mostly at the local farmer's market, still it's about 50% less on meat there. Sometimes I buy some wine, but try to keep it at under $12/bottle. I rarely throw anything away.  I plan meals and am pretty good at cooking.

I agree, eating all organic, unprocessed foods is expensive, but it's not just my body I am healing and feeding right, but the planet as well.  Maybe if we all did it, and put the pesticide/steroid companies outta biz the prices would come down!

$100-135 per week for 3 people, 3 dogs, and whoever else I feel like feeding that week (I usually bake for the band and drama group during events, about twice a month).

edit to add: That includes most normal "personal" items, too, which I get at the same store.
