Well i think i said i was from mexico before, and cus im staying in scotland its so hard to find something spicy... and not indian. I tried buying a chilli powder but i just stupidly spent one pound... cus its just not spicy and tastes weird :L
But on tuesday that i went to asda i bought a "Hot Chili Powder" ASDA brand, i took my cook zen noodles, a can of heinz soup and i put a HEAPED spoon to the soup, and at the end it was SPICY!!!! i was even sweating haha =D!
Weell anyway, my point is, do u have any suggestion on what else can i do with this hot chilli powder? i like hot dishes so i just wanna hear some ideas xP
Thx =D
I put chili powder in everything! Pasta, pizza sauce, ontop of cucumbers, on popcorn..
+1
I put tons of cayenne in absolutely E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G I cook; it can never be too hot!
I just wanted to suggest you don't knock the indians... Forget the indian restaurants, just seek out rhe Real McCoy!
Why? Because those guys really know a good chilli-pepper when they see it. Forget ASDA (nasty supermarket btw... very nasty.... ) and hunt down your nearest all-purpose indian/pakistani grocers shop. They'll sell you everything from teeny-weeny thermo-nuclear green chillis to dried red cayenne chilli flakes and all points in between.
And also ask them where to get a decent indian meal. Over-anglicised indian food is our equivalent of Tex-Mex... spineless.
Hahaha waaa i would love to but i cannttt i live in the middle of nowhere! the nearest suprmarket is a tescos & asda that is 30 minutes driveee ! =D!!!
Then maybe 'bashed neeps' with a dash of cayenne would do the trick.
For the past few months I've been eating oatmeal savory for breakfast. Really thick, topped with turmeric powder, a little grated cheese and hot peppers. I've been using hot giardinara for the peppers, but whatever you got at asda would probably work just as well.
Baked potato topped with unsweetened yogurt and hot pepper is good too.
Have you tried lime pickles?
I love these! They make a great side dish or a fab TV nibble. Keep your popcorn give me my Poppers!! ![]()
