Spinach and Cottage Cheese Salad
One of my favorite 4th/5th meal recipes! This consists of spinach, avocado and cottage cheese as the main flavours. It is to DIE FOR! I know many people out there don't want to try cottage cheese, especially with something like spinach. However, I promise you that this is the most tasty and decadent HEALTHY meal you will ever consume! Don't knock it before you try it ![]()
Spinach and Cottage Cheese Salad
What you need:
- Baby Spinach - 1/4 cup
- Avocado - 1/4 of 1
- Cucumber (English) - 3 thick slices
- Red Bell Pepper - 1/4 of 1
- Cottage Cheese (fat-free) - 1/2 cup
What to do:
- Chop Cucumber and Bell Pepper according to preference.
- Slice Avocado into small square chunks.
- Layer Spinach in a bowl. Top with Cucumber, Red Pepper, Avocado, and lastly the Cottage Cheese.
- Dig in and enjoy!! Mmm Mmmmm.
Now, as you look below at the nutrition facts you'll notice this has 7.5 grams of fat. BREATHE! This is HEALTHY fat. This is the fat that is essential in real and perminant fat loss. When you work off the bad fat... your body NEEDS good fat to replace it with and use as energy rather than storing.
