This is a loaf with lentil, split pea, almond meal, and walnut meal, with a bunch of spices. The lentils and split peas must be cooked already. This recipe is from 2 cups of a mixture of dry lentils and dry split peas.

Recipe Ingredients for Split Pea Lentil Loaf

4 cups Peas, Split, Mature Seeds
2 cups boiled lentils
1 red onion
2/3 cup almonds
1 cup walnuts
6 tsp Basil, Fresh
2 tsp dry mustard
2 tbsp curry powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Split Pea Lentil Loaf

  1. Puree almonds and walnuts finely in food processor.

  2. Mix all ingredients together.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes in a loaf pan OR eat as is.
