I crave peanut butter all the time. I very rarely let myself have it however but today i let myself have about a tbsp of PB is that bad for me?

no- a tbsp of peanut butter, especially once in a while, is not bad at all
Peanut butter has protein and unsaturated fat, both of which are good for you. I had a tablespoon of peanut butter on my toast this morning too. It is quite calorie-dense (I get the low-fat kind, to minimize this) but even the regular kind is good for you, in moderation. (And yes, one tablespoon here and there counts as moderation).
Maybe if you incorporated whole wheat toast with a tablespoon of peanut butter into your breakfast every morning (and maybe another tablespoon as a snack in the afternoon) you'd start craving it less. Not letting yourself have a food you love just makes you love it more. I remember on Atkins how strongly I would crave pasta and sweets and bread...not good. Moderation and balance is key.

duplicate, sorry
I eat a tablespoon of natural PB with some apple a lot: I've lost fifteen lbs since February...there are a lot of REALLY GREAT nutritional elements in peanut butter--just learn to operate in moderation. No single food is a deal-breaker; it's the amount that matters.
I have now lost 133 lbs. I have eaten peanut butter toast almost every morning during my weight loss experience. Just keep your calorie counts in mind and let the rest of your day's menu balance out the fats in the peanut butter. By the way, peanut butter contains some good oils. Good luck.
I use natural unsalted peanut butter (made from just peanuts). It's delicious and healthy and I eat it almost everyday.
If you can switch to natural peanut butter, you'll have a good source of omega 3s, and you won't have all that extra added refined sugar.
I found that after I hadn't eaten peanut butter in a long time, I actually like natural peanut butter more than the artificial stuff I used to eat all the time.
