A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go dowwwn...

After avoiding sick people for the last 3 months, (damn you swine flu, i'm a germaphobe as it is!) I finally got sick. First it was just my throat, then nose, now both. It's throwing me off. First in the middle of the day, I'll lose my appetite, then at night, (even after continuing meals regularly) I get super hungry. So I've kind of been adding Green Tea and some crackers as a late night snack. But I hate Green Tea, seriously, it's dreadful. I also took two days off working out, anything over one day really makes me upset with myself, so I started working out again today. I mean for the day only being 2pm, it's been a crappy day. I feel much better now but...

I really want a hostess cupcake and chocolate milk and Tylenol Sinus capsules. Frown

Sorry you're feeling bad!

If you hate the green tea so much, why are you drinking it? Why not try some other teas? If what you don't like is the bitterness, then I'd avoid black tea - it has more tannins and a generally stronger flavor. You might like white tea instead. If you dislike the grassiness of green tea, I'd avoid white tea (but give black tea a try). If you just don't like the taste, why not try a flavored herbal tea? They come in all sorts of flavors (seriously - celestial seasonings even has a "sugar cookie sleigh ride" flavor that does taste disturbingly similar to a sugar cookie). Also, are you drinking brewed tea, or prepackaged tea? Prepackaged tea (Snapple, Arizona etc) barely deserves to be called 'tea.'

Feel better soon!
