OK, I am relatively new to CC and I have never posted before but I have had a question for quite sometime now. I have rather large breasts- they stand up pretty well on their own and I would like to keep them that way.... I love to run and be athletic but I have so much trouble with them boucing around and going crazy... Does anyone know of any good sports bras that can "cure" this problem? I typically run with a real bra and 2-3 sports bras... but then I can't breathe very well so I cant run very far!

I am a 34 DD and weigh about 125. I am pretty small so this makes people look at them even more when I am running! I am very self-conscious of them anyway I dont need them running around and boucing in everyone face!

Please let me know if you have any suggestions! Thank yo

Try Enell - they're like a bulletproof vest or half-armour I'm told, and is usually what gets recommended whenever this topic comes up ;)

Do you have a Running Room store near you? or a store specifically for runners/marathoners?  I went there and got a REALLY good bra for working out (and running :))

Check out the guide from Women's Health Magazine:

I like Moving Comfort.  I usually wear a cheaper, all-cotton hanes type underneath and that gives me a lot of support when I run.  I'm only a C-cup though, so that might make a difference.

I am a 38 DD and I just bought a new sports bra yesterday at Kohl's for $40. Its lilyette in motion level 3. I just jogged on the treadmill for 50 mins and my boobs did not bounce at all or hurt, which is sooo nice. I am wishing now that I bought another one!

hey i'm 110...32DD so similar...when i used to be a 34 i would just wear 2 sports bras....works better than any 1 sports bra

I'm a 34D, I love the victoria's secret sports bras, you can buy them on ebay.

Title Nine has a bra called the Last Resort.  I'm a DD, and it's the only bra I trust to keep my boobs up where they belong when I'm active.

Don't wear the sports bra. Your bounce is motivation for us guys and gals to exercise.

I used to be a 36DDD (I've since had a breast reduction). Back then, I had the Title Nine Last Resort bra, and it was pretty decent, but rather pricey. A more effective solution for me was the Title Nine (www.titlenine.com) Frog bra. I'd buy it one size smaller than I was supposed to fit and I'd wear it over my regular underwire bra (the Vanity Fair Satin Solutions). The combo of the two was pretty effective.

I'm a 34D, the Victoria's Secret sports bras are great and only about $20 on ebay.  Before these I generally did a double sports bra one large and then a medium over it.

I'm a 38G, and the only sports bra I've found that works is the Enell.  And if it matters to you, it's recommended by Oprah :)  But I second what the other enell poster said, it's more like armour than clothing.  But those babies don't move an inch with it on.

The Title Nine Last resort and the Enell are the same bra.  The sizing is odd (I am a 34DDD or 36DD so narrow but full ... and I couldn't get an Enell bra to fit) and I also found the fabric to be thick and hot (temperature not appearance, these bras are not sexy).   I like underwire sports bras by Lunaire and Champion in fabrics like Coolmax that breathe a little more.  Try a good lingerie store in your area, as you really need to try them on to find out what fits you best... a good fit is important and will offer more support.

I agree! Kohls has really good sports bras. I forget what mine is but it deff holds my babies in. lol Im not as big as you guys are, im only full c small d

The best sports bra I have found is by Donna Karen and I got it at Nordstrom.   I am a 34 DDD and I like to run.   My boobs don't move.  I love it.  The downside is it's $55 but then again it is worth every penny!

I have 2 versions of the lilyette in motion from Kohl's... 38 DD here and I have been very pleased... I have one with an underwire and one without.... the one with the underwire is great for the treadmill or aerobics and the other one I use for the elliptical and weight training.... Love them and I am getting ready to buy a couple more....the Enell is pretty expensive and hard to find...I don't know about you but I prefer to try them on before I buy...  Good luck!
