Sprained ankle gonna be laid up a while
I have noticed this really interesting thing- the more I move the less hungry I feel. The more sedentary the opposite occurs. I have been delaying eating (when I feel like the urge is coming on outside of a meal or snack) I go do something and if I feel hungry after that I look for a healthy snack.
I am in bed all day but I noticed that I am super hngry though I didn't do much because it hurts so much to walk. I hate this. I really want to junk out. Any suggestions?
I always feel like eating when I'm just watching tv or reading. However, I've noticed that when I work on craft projects I'm less likely to eat because I don't want to get them dirty and I have to use both hands. If you're laid up in bed for a while, take up cross-stitching, knitting, or some other hobby that you won't want to put down just to have a snack. Also, you could get a set of hand weights and do some curls, shoulder presses, or other upper-body exercises while you're off your feet.
