Okay so it's bad but not as bad as I thought.
I knew I ate a lot then to top it off yesterday I had way too much sodium, I was messing with ways to make veggies and I put on some tereiaky sauce and hubbys friend ordered pizza from Pizza Hutt AND I made hubs sugar cookies for vday so I had a little. I'm good at portioning everything except the cookies :p. Oh well, just motivation to try harder next week :p

In 2007 I lost about 20 lbs, but over 2008 gradually gained it all back. I've been a yo-yo for as long as I can remember. I really want to get fit and keep the weight from coming back on!

I posted my 1st weigh in back on page 1. I lost a pound - I'm in my 6th week of eating better and the loss is slowing down, gonna try to rev it up this week, can't hardly wait to get down to 190lbs!

2/16: 123lbs -- I have no idea how I didn't gain because I ate TONS of chocolate, literally. Like one of those jumbo chocolate kisses..and then more food after that. I'm like amazed!! I'm going to be better this week. Good luck everyone.

OK, I'm in. I need the support of this group to keep me losing. I have been serious in CC for 1 week now and have lost 2.5 lbs. I have a goal of 132 lbs. My actual goal date is not until August, but keeping track here will help me meet my target in August.

Sorry it took me so long to get on here and weigh in! Spent the day "nursing" hubby. Had to take him to the dentist and he needs a root canal! OUCH!

Hey everyone! I was in the Valentine's challenge and kind of pooped out at the end. A week's vacation did me in!! But I'm back and motivated to get in shape by this summer, so this challenge should get me back on track.
I'm 56 and an empty-nester -- just me and my hubby. We eat out a lot (too much) with friends and we like to entertain. So it's challenging to keep track of calories. And the closer I get to my goal, the harder it is, both staying motivated and losing lbs. So hopefully, a Monday weigh-in will keep me in line.

What I would give to see 130 anything! I can't get below 170! I just recently gained 10 pounds in one week! So I've lost 2 lbs of it so far, gotta get rid of the rest of it now and get below 170. I try to stay below my trend line too. This is the 1st time I've been above it! YIKES! ![]()

I've always ingored the trend line. I read that it was an average of your last 30 weigh-in's or something like that. I only have about 16 weigh-ins so far.
I'm at 190.8 now and my trend line says 197.2. Will the two lines get closer together the longer I keep track of it, or as I get closer to my goal weight? Right now I'm just happy to keep my weight line as far away from the trend line as possible! But based on what you'e saying, the two will meet some day!

It's an average of your last 10 entries. It's helpful because you know if the weight loss or gain is for real - not just water weight or something. After 6weeks, and now that I'm losing 1 to 2 pounds per week instead of 3lbs, the two lines are nearly identical.

hmmm...so if I started recording my weights every day the two lines would pretty much be the same...right? It would be the average of the last 10 days, rather than the last 10 weeks, like mine is right now.
How often do you guys record your weight? I weigh in every day but only record it on CC once a week (Thursdays).
